All of the Katana and Wakizashi at https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=corp:tamahagane_company:products need updated to DRv3
They used the old "PS" hand-to-hand system, with the exception of the PA blade, which used DRv2 ADR.

Proposed updates as follows, after discussion with @Nashoba :

• Practice Blades and Mini-Neko Blades: Tier 0
• 1 PS & 2PS Blades (most Wakizashis) = Tier 1 (Light Anti-Personnel)
• 3 PS Blades (Katanas and Advanced Wakizashi) = Tier 2 (Medium Anti-Personnel)
• 2 ADR Blade (PA Version) = Tier 4 (Light Anti-Armor)

(It's technically a Tamahagane product)
This is essentially the OG version of the Kaiyō Sword, and is of similar heavy weight and the same monomolecular edged zesuaium construction, propose Tier 3 (Heavy Anti-Personnel) using that and the other katanas as a guideline.

Sounds okay, I guess? I'm not sure melee weapons should even have damage ratings because they entirely depend on the skill and strength of the user.

Yeah, but so many do. Nash told me that's why there was that old PS system that was tangent to DRv1 and DRv2 that specifically concerned melee.
