It was early in the afternoon when Thomas showed up at the large and luxurious offices of the PNUgen Monitor, located on the 4th floor of the journalism building of PNUgen educational facility #2. He was in a reasonably good mood, despite the fact that it was Monday, and therefore he had another dreadful week of school to look forward to. Journalism was his calling, and for a young man of his age, nothing was more sustaining than a sense of purpose.
When Thomas sat down at his desk, he saw a message on the screen of his computer terminal. It appeared that Mr. Arvid, the editor of the newspaper, wanted to see him as soon as he had arrived.
Thomas walked up to the large oaken doors that led to the editor's office and knocked. "Mr. Arvid, sir? You asked for me?â€
