Mitsuya System, June YE 32
The small fleet of NMX ships sailed closer to the planet Mitsuya II, surrounded by large swarms of battle pods. As they moved forward they passed through the wreckage of the system's meager defenses.
Tthugornaigh, a large Mishhuvurhtyar with four narrow bright red eyes and hundreds of crimson-tinged spikes protruding from his head and horns, sat on a cushioned platform in the center of XSS Perseverance's command chamber, overseeing the operation.
"Initiating scan. Life signs confirmed. Begin strategic bombardment of designated targets."'
As the ships began to enter orbit, they locked their sights on military targets and began raining down fire on them.

Mitsuya II Surface
Missile contrails and bright beams of energy streaked down from the sky, pushing around and penetrating the clouds and impacting the surface with earth-ratting roars and lingering balls of orange light.

Kioku no Seijin Colony
In an underground bunker, a group of technicians in UOC Peackeeper uniforms huddled around a large glowing computer console.
"Damn it!" yelled a tough-looking bald peacekeeper with goatee. "I can't make contact with anyone! The jamming is just too intense, and I keep losing transmitters. They're shooting any radio system they can find!"
A leggy blonde female leaned over the panel by his side. "Can we at least tell how many there are?"
"We couldn't get any info from the system defense drones. Probably jammed too. Shit! The spaceport has gone silent!" the bald one announced.
"So the evacuation ships must be assumed to be lost," a tall man with dark hair and thin eyeglasses conjectured from behind.
"Oh my God," the blonde said in horror, as it sunk in. "We are trapped here. Totally trapped."
"We have some shuttles in the bunker," the cool glasses guy suggested. "If we can slip by we could probably make it to a nearby system. A single shuttle isn't worth going after to them."
"Might be worth shooting," the bald guy pointed out. "But I guess that it's either that or wait for them to come. What do you think, Sarah?"
"Let's go," the blonde woman nodded.
They grabbed their guns and began heading for the shuttle bay.

XSS Perseverance
"All threats have been eliminated," a pale-skinned Nekovalkyrja informed her monstrous captain.
Tthugornaigh was pleased. "Begin pacification and send out the landers."
On the viewscreen he could see twenty landing ships surge past the main fleet and descend upon the small military base that accounted for the planet's small population of 7,500 troops.
As the ships descended, a wide low-intensity scalar field swept over the area, penetrating buildings and bunkers to stun their occupants.

Kioku no Seijin Colony
The trio were just entering the shuttlebay when the field hit them, causing them to scream in agony before collapsing to the floor. As Sarah's conciousness faded she realized the shock had made her lose bladder control.
There was only blackness then.
Sarah's eyes slowly came back open. Some time had passed. She felt her boots dragging along the ground, and tried to kick her legs but something was in her blood that kept her unable to move. She tried to look around. Above her was the shuttle bay, and then the sun and sky. Finally they dragged her up a ramp and into a pinkish-tinted ship. Was that a Nekovalkrja? A mustard-colored uniform. The enemy. She watched in helpless horror as the neko took her weapons away and laid her side by side along hundred of other paralyzed victims. Several Mishhu hovered around behind the neko, making sure the peacekeepers were heavily drugged for the trip. The sunlight faded as the door ramp closed. Sarah heard the engines. A tentacle pressed against her neck. She could feel a fluid injection.
Only blackness again.

XSS Perseverance
"We have retrieved the locals," The pale-skinned Nekovalkyrja starship operator told Tthugornaigh. "Landing ships are returning fully loaded."
"Excellent," the spike-covered Mishhuvurthyar laughed. "Huhuuhuhu! Slag the colony and take us home. It is time for our guests to begin the process."
