Ketsurui no Iori, Yamatai--Kitsurugi Yuumi (also known as Ketsurui Yuumi), the former Empress of Yamatai and former Imperial Premier of Yamatai (YE 33-43), announced that she would be resuming her role as CEO of WickedArms Industries and restarting the company to make weapons for Yamatai and the reformed Uesureyan Star Empire. The revived WickedArms brand will begin making classics such as the GP-12 pulse rifle immediately using old equipment and plans to produce new models of service pistols and military gear in the future. WickedArms was also a major producer of Nekovalkyrja after the fall of PNUgen and it's possible that it could seek to re-enter the production of the genetically engineered soldiers.
WickedArms Corporation was originally founded by Kitsurugi Yuumi in YE 17 and for near to a decade served as the Star Army of Yamatai's primary supplier of weapons before being closed in YE 28. At the time, the purpose of the closure was said to be to encourage privatization of the military supply sector, however, Ketsurui Zaibatsu took over most of WickedArms functions and continues to do so to this day. Yuumi, who was thought to have died in YE 24, the Fourth Elysian War when the Elysian Celestial Navy destroyed Geshrinopolis, Yamatai's capital city. The crew of Ketsurui Hanako's ship, the YSS Sakura (NG-X1-360), later discovered a surviving copy of her, which they returned to Yamatai. She later became involved in politics again and served as Imperial Premier from YE 33 to 43 and retired for unspecified mental health reasons. The announcement of WickedArms making a comeback makes her first public appearance since that time.
