I have a wonderful surprise for you guys!
This is something not just for you, but for all of our fellow roleplaying communities running Dokuwiki. What is it? Star Army just paid for its first custom-made Dokuwiki plugin! I paid the developer of Dokuwiki, Andreas Gohr, to make a custom plugin that randomly displays text from a list of options. This is going to let us make wiki pages where parts of them are different on each page load - so now we can make a page called "Random Nekovalkyrja" and actually have a new random Nekovalkyrja on it every time the page is visited.
More to come when I get time. I hope to start making more generators and moving some of the old PHP-based generators onto this. The idea is to "Democratize" the generators. Instead of me being the only one on SARP who can make them, now anyone can create a generator page or make pages (for example, places pages) that have random parts in them like the local weather changing. There's a lot of possibilities. Furthermore, this plugin is available to everyone and I hope other RPG communities find it useful as well.
