The YSS Wyvern, newly commissioned and sparking like a great silver whale in the harsh sunlight that streamed into the port awaited in her berth, uniformed men and women darting in and out like ants from afar. The post she and her crew had been summoned to was a patchwork affair as stations went, with one unique feature. The story went that a miner once got tired of drilling day and night into a huge meteorite as he had been doing for many years, so he decided to call it a day and set up his home there.

Apparently, his idea had paid off. For many years now, the outpost had been gradually growing in both size and popularity, the place morphing into a bustling pit-stop for ships on their way from Yamatai to Elysia. Now, the entrance had been rimmed with a sort of energy field airlock - from the outside not much to look at but it made the entire interior breathable.

Once passing through, one would behold long terraces carved into the sides of the titanic cavern, buildings nestled atop them with passages and staircases between each carved smooth into the dark, reflective rock. Entertainment and accommodation of all sorts were provided, with each layer being devoted to a certain lifestyle - the lower being more and more seedy.

Advertisments were plastered across the massive walls of the cavern and shuttles zipped up and down between the terraces that ran all the way to the ceiling of the settlement. The Wyvern has been brought into dock at the very top of the structure, where almost exclusively Star Army and other such agencies could hitch up.

So, for now, the crew of the YSS Wyvern had assembled here from their various transport craft, awaiting for the day they would be formally inducted to the majestic Fuji while she supplied for the first time ever, thus beginning a long service in the name of the Empire. This day was supposed to be expected at least a few from now, the crew trickling in over several weeks, having been selected from posts across the Kikyo Sector.

It came as a shock, then, as a unexpected red message flashed across Star Army datapads across the starbase. It stated simply, in bold and harsh letters, "WYVERN HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. REPORT TO BERTH IMMEDIATELY."

"Finally...a little peace and quiet." Zazriel said as he finished placing what few personal effects he had in his office located in the medical center of the Fuji class ship. He sat back in his seat complacent that the crew physicals were slow and steadily filing into the ship. Taking a look at his data pad as it linked up to the Wyvern's database he made sure the crew members that were already aboard the ship were filed under "fit for duty." When his data pad went off with an alert to all enlisted members of the ship he let out a long sigh.

"Out of the frying pan I guess." The Elysian said as he sent out an alert to his staff that field physicals were about to begin and all hands were needed so the ship can leave quickly.

He walked out of the medical facility and out towards the loading area so he could join the crew and get things rolling.

Icarus stood at the railing of a gantry looking over the new ship that was to become his home, he held his father's necklace in his left hand, its clasp had broken years ago and he'd not wanted it fixed. When he set out on his journey into the Star Army he only had one goal in mind, continue where his late father left off and become an officer and now he had done just that with the YSS Wyvern being the first ship he would ever command on. His data-pad suddenly flashed with the message. "So we have to go earlier than expected, well I didn't plan on doing anything else."

Alexia had found herself a small food parlor and was inspecting the menu boards trying to come to a decision on what to have, she glanced back through the crowds towards her brother in the distance and wondered if he'd appreciate some food. Alexia had a lot of respect for her brother and even though she was only a couple of years younger than him he was the closest thing to a father she'd had growing up. Her data-pad similarly flashed with the message requesting the crew and cursed inwardly.

The two met by the railing Icarus had been leaning on and moved together towards the ship, as they neared the boarding gantry they were the first two to arrive who weren't on the ship already. Alexia put a hand on her brothers shoulder, she knew how much this all meant to him and wanted to be there for him like any good sibling.
"Cheer up Icarus, you've done it at last, so try not to scare off everyone you meet with that glare of yours yeah?"
"You know I was never one for social interactions, you should consider yourself lucky I'm still in my off-duty clothes at this point." Icarus replied with a faint smile upturning the corner of his lips, he could always count on his sister to see the bright side.

On such an exciting day for the crew, one member was enjoying the last of their free time over a cup of coffee. He was an Elysian, tall and muscular with a trimmed head of wine-red hair. Draped nearly behind their seat was a pair of matching wings, strong and full with a light purple sheen from all the nearby station lighting.

The man took another sip of the drink, taking care not to let any drip from the paper cup onto his fresh black coat, adorned with a pair of blue stripes. He scratched his thin beard lightly, looking out over the vast layered station. Dion Rothart had calculated that he had two hours before he had to be at the top docks, and that left him with an hour and fifty minutes to show up just early enough to make an impression.

But someone had different plans. Dion read the incoming red alert and grimaced. There went his break. The red Elysian stood, brushing off his coat before leaving the ethnic cafe. Taking one last sip of the unfinished brew, he tossed aside the paper cup into the garbage bin on his way out.

Military Reserved Docks

Dion showed up approximately two minutes after the alarm was given, appearing from the personnel lift along with others. As the Elysian approached the ramp entrance terminal leading to the massive ship, he scanned the massive bay for Commanding Officers and other high-level personnel. Chat would have to wait, there was an alert that needed answering for.

YSS Wyvern

The gunship was flawless close up, more reflective than most other ships even of its type, the usual wear and tear normally on Star Army vessels nonexistent. Soldiers of all stripes, rank and occupation were darting into and out of the Wyvern, rushing whatever boxes they could inside while tossing any unnecessary equipment roughly onto the smooth stone of the port.

A young, buzz-cut Juni awaited just inside the bustling entrance to the ship, squeezed up against one side to allow the ferrying to pass unhindered. He waved the various crew members sprinting across the dock aboard, tapping at his pad as each passed by. Stood stoic and statuesque on the Bridge of their Fuji - the third ever of its class - Shosa Aerlia Lei'Shela's gaze was fixated on the various glowing screens across the room. The Separa'Shan pursed her lips in discontent, amber eyes finally resting neutrally across the Bridge.

"Are we all aboard?" she spoke through comms in the calmest and most deadpan of manners, a far cry from the disorder of people jumping to their stations, their shoes clattering down the hallways like coins down a well. At the entrance, now growing more and more deserted, the young soldier responded, keying his communicator. "Aye, ma'am. All essential personnel have made it, though we're still missing a few people." he stammered, still fresh-faced.

With that, the ex-SAINT Shosa spotted her black-winged First Officer making his way inside and wasted no time on formalities. "Asellio-taii? Make sure everyone's in position and get us ready for a pursuit. I'll brief the crew once we're away." Her voice seemed to linger on each "s", that same tone - not rushed yet not leisurely either.

With the redheaded Dion appearing slightly behind the Taii, the Separa nodded to indicate him. "Santô Juni - see we detach moors and clamps, notify traffic control we're on the way out. Best take your console." Aerlia slithered to her command chair, sliding calmly into it. "All Department Chiefs, inventory check and get your subordinates to their muster stations." the Venis broadcast shipwide finally.

Bridge

"Hai Shosa." Icarus spoke in his serious tone giving a small salute as he entered and was given his orders, he knew who they all were aboard this ship the military police force but he hadn't expected to be dispatched this quickly. Pulling out his data-pad once more he checked to confirm for himself everyone had boarded, everyone who was going aboard that is and began his work.

"Loading dock, prep for takeoff, I want it closed up and all cargo secured if anything is damaged I'll see you replace it personally." He spoke with his hard tone that he'd developed in his years of service at Blacksands, commanding and serious, he knew the importance of keeping control of a crew and he preffered to command respect with words rather than threats but this was a matter of urgency.

"All non-essential combatants, report to the Power Armour bay and await further briefing." Icarus liked to keep his orders concise and practical, no need to fill up comms with something that can be explained in a few words, he paused and ran a hand through his red mohawk causing it to spring up almost seeming to stand at attention as well. Turning back to the captain he awaited for further orders while listening fo information on the target they would be chasing.

Cabins
Alexia had quickly stashed her personal belongings in her cabin, if they were leaving this early there would be a reason for it and soon enough she heard her brother issuing orders over comms. "Well wouldn't want to make him look bad on his first day." She said out-loud to herself as she hurriedly changed into her uniform and headed towards the Power Armour bay, she wondered what would require the combat members this soon, especially since they hadn't left the station yet but.

Reaching the PA bay she made her way over to her mindy and checked over its components ensuring nothing was out of place before she waited for further orders from the bridge. Alexia could have easily taken a more domestic role in the Star Army more suited to her skills but had joined to infantry as her own little way to repay her brother for all he had done for her when they were children, momentarily lost in her own memories she would nearly lose her footing as the ship lurched disengaging from the station.

Cargo Bay

Zazriel and his assistants had managed to pass everyone that streamed in. It was a madhouse and a flurry of words and expletives were said as the ship began final routines for takeoff. As personnel filed out to their quarters Zazriel dismissed his crew so they could go to their quarters if they were off duty, but each of them were on call at least. Looking at his data pad he sighed while walking back to the Medical Center, take off was minutes away and all hands were ordered to prepare for launch. "Wonder if there is a fire..." He said in a condescending tone before walking into the office and sitting at his chair as he checked in that the Medical Center was up and operational, uploading inventory files so that everything is ready.

Medical Center

When the ship launched the jolt caused some things to shift, nothing broke so all in all it was a success. He got up as the bridge sent out an all comms message asking for all combat personnel to report to the Power Armor Bay and suit up. Zazriel sent out messages as two of his medical crew were chosen to be put into drop teams and the rest were to report to the medical center for further instruction. He buzzed the bridge relaying the commands given.

"Heisho Zazriel Sura, Chief Medical Staff reporting in Med Center is operational with all hands on stand by, two Santô Hei have been sent to Power Armor Bay for the mission. standing by for further orders sir." He said as he stood in the Medical Center as his assistants showed up.

Bridge

Dion appeared in the bridge quickly, pausing for just a moment to take in the very new design. His head leveled as their now unknown captain gave orders. The Elysian replied with a crisp "Hai." He was an operator, not a pilot. But even then, he could make do with the ground crew.

The operator found their seat, stripping their black coat and leaving it briskly folded over the back of their seat. His hands fell onto the console naturally, bringing up various volumetric displays. Various systems and graphs flickered by, showing the engine status of the ship. He hoped someone had taken the time to peel the plastic wrap off the reactor with this level of early release. Dion cleared his throat, opening up a communication channel between the bridge and ground control. "This is the YSS Wyvern to port control tower three, clearing for takeoff. Do you copy?"

Station Dock
The Juni on the loading bay relayed the Taii's orders across the dock, a flurry of activity sparking as ropes were cast off, the hiss and popping of cables as they detached and retracted back to their storage ports. With the final few crates being slid up the ramp, the hiss of metal on metal as they came to a stop just inside the doors. The buzz-cut Warrant Officer barked a final few orders, the doors finally rasping shut, a clanking sound ringing across the bay as the doors vaccum-sealed. Radioing back to Icarus, his voice crackled "Cast off, all loaded, sir."

Power Armor Bay

The harsh stomp, crash of equipment crates being ripped open echoed around the PA Bay; Nekos, Separa, Minkans, Kodians, soldiers of all types grabbing newly-produced weapons and jumping into their armors. With everything being locked away, still wrapped in packing material and locked up it would take a while to mount up.

"Alexia, right?" her squad leader shouted over from the stand beside the woman, the long-haired Separa'Shan was just affixing a LASR to the side of his PA, stopping to glance to where she stood across from him.

Bridge

Shosa Aerlia shot off a number of transmissions to the various Department Heads, "Heisho Sura, acknowledged, be ready to receive casualties - this might get hairy."

The volumetrics on Dion's display ticked up, each one resolving as the calculations finished up - engines green, cooling green. His comms suddenly opened up, the sounds of the operator on the other end hastily swallowing what was probably a doughnut. "Uhh.. Wyvern, this is Port Control Three.. Copy that, we don't have you registered as active but.. Go ahead YSS Wyvern, cleared takeoff and exit."

With that, the ex-SAINT Venis opened a shipwide channel and cleared her throat.
"All hands, this is Shosa Aerlia Lei'Shela, Captain of this ship. We've just received a Quick Reaction Response scramble from a Star Army research vessel. One of the crew went AWOL some time last night, deserting from the ship and we've been rallied to bring them in. That's all we know at this time. Lei'Shela out."

YSS Wyvern

The Fuji's engines buzzled and whined, powering up to idle as the moorings detached. The CFS glistened into life, the shield cloaking over the Wyvern as she waited patiently for the clearance to go to be relayed to the helmsman. Her weapons clicked and clacked as they powered up for the first time ever, pre-emptively awaiting the fight that was sure to come. Far ahead, the shielded airlock's closest stage blinking out to allow the Wyvern to slip in place ASAP.

Icarus nodded to himself a rogue crew member on a research vessel, they must have something important with them if the MP had been called in to help, either that or they have some kind of leverage, so many possibilities. Listening to the captain issue commands he found himself unknowingly evaluating her character, it was something that they weren't allowed to forget as the second to the captain, always be ready to step in and assist the captain and this was usually helped if you knew what kind of a person they were.

"Everything is on board and we've been cleared to launch on your order Shosa." He said turning to face her, his eyes never wavering and his expression set in stone.

PA Bay

Alexia looked over at the Separa and smiled as she herself set to work retrieving her power armour equipment and attaching the various parts. "Hai sir, Alexia Asellio, Itto Hei. What do you suppose drove them to leave the ship?" She asked, referring to the AWOL crew member, grabbing her Aether sub machine-gun and moving to equip her mindy with it. Alexia was still a little nervous about the whole thing, she knew her brother would be up in the bridge looking out for the crew, he wouldn't let anything happen to them. But she couldn't help but feel there must be something seriously wrong if they needed a trained combat and peacekeeping ship to intervene.

Dion nodded as the port control tower responded. He replied with a clean "Thank you." The officer turned their head to look at the Captain, but not far enough to let the console leave his sight. "Airlock is open Captain, we're ready to take off."

The Elysian resumed their post, familiarizing themselves with the ship layout. He brought up a camera feed from the power armor bay, watching over the scrambling crew.

YSS Wyvern
Medical Bay

Zazriel continued going through inventory as the other medical staff treated minor bruises and wounds from some cargo crew, seemed as though some of the crew was still not used to working on a ship. With a sigh Zazriel checked the backups of the crew, making sure that that everything was as it should be. After making sure everything in his department was as it should be he went to his office and sat at his computer before sending a request to the bridge for combat personnel that were to be sent out in power armor for backup reference and to be able to pull up any data needed in case one was to become injured on the mission.

Sitting there in his desk he yawned before speaking to himself. "This is going to be a long shift." Just as the medical center doors opened up to an entourage of kitchen staff holding one of their own that knocked themselves out due to slipping.

YSS Wyvern

With the orders going through, Aerlia nodded to Icarus meaningfully "Do it." She then turned to the helmswoman who nervously took the controls. In no time the YSS Wyvern - third of its class - was underway on their first mission. Engines glowing, their gust and power blew the unessential bits and bobs across the tarmac, various dockhands held onto their hats and coats with the ship launching from its berth.

The crew could make out on the various monitors across the Wyvern the view from the external cameras, sailing far above the heads of wide-eyed children and curious people going about their business like ants. It was a brilliant view, as their vessel soared towards and into the exotic, crackling lock. Once inside, the comms could crackle. "Wyvern, Airlock Control - you're clear straight out."

With one of the two purple discs flashing to life just behind them and the other blinking away much like a screen turning off, everything was set.

Their Shosa was satisfied and allowed herself a small smile, not quite within Venis' social protocol but she was happy with how quickly the crew had come together. It was then a figure blinked into life on the monitor directly before the coal-and-chalk banded Separa, appearing to be from a SAINT Taii - 'Target is believed to have sensitive cargo aboard.' Nothing else. Interesting.

In a moment, she had sent the message across to the red-winged Icarus. "Taii Asellio, whatever he's taken we need it back intact - suit up with the Away Team if you can. Santo Juni Rothart, make sure we're combat ready. Full speed ahead, let's get this guy."

PA Bay

The NCO shook his scaly head at Alexia a few times, slithering inside his Mindy as it popped and clicked shut around his form. "If I had to guess? Sciency stuff he didn't like? You got any ideas?" he admitted, rolling his shoulders to check the servos were all working. The various away team members were ecstatic for their first taste of action and it were chatting openly about themselves with anticipation.

Medical Bay

One of Zazriel's own medics followed with the procession of the knocked-out chef. "Zazriel-heisho?" Yukiya Ellie began, holding a hand to the casualty's neck to check his pulse. Her purple ponytails and bangs were striking, as well as those ocean blue eyes of hers. With the burly sieu-chef laying the scrawny and unconscious woman onto a bed, Ellie strode to assist Zazriel. "We're not even out of the port and we already have men down.." the shorter Hei muttered, looking to the chief for direction.

...

Elysian Space

In some amount of time the Wyvern decreased speed, the predicted target location pinging closer and closer on their radar. Finally, the helmswoman spotted the ship far ahead of them and dialled back speed not to overshoot. The Wyvern's engines were quickly making pace and closing the gap until suddenly their prey broke from its path and began an erratic pattern. They'd been spotted.

"Away Team, deploy when possible and board that ship. Be advised, they know we're coming, they're armed and try not to blow the thing up when it's still got the package aboard." Aerlia buzzed through the comms of the various Mindys, HELGAs and assorted PAs inside the packed bay.

"Open a channel to them, I'll try and talk them down." the Shosa said to nobody in particular, clearly deep in strategic thought. She then glanced at each of the bridge officers individually, almost all green. She'd had the time to look over many of the crew's files while the Wyvern was mustering in harbour. Cool amber eyes settled on Dion - if she recalled he'd served well as a bridge officer for a few years. "Santo Juni, you have the con - get us in position, armed and ready - don't let them pull anything." While it was unorthodox to entrust command to a NCO, albeit a senior NCO, she figured she could step in if something went wrong.

The Powerarmour Bay was chaos. Absolute, but somehow controlled chaos as the away team of the ship scrambled to find their armors in the half way unpacked bay. Everyone scrambled and searched, for what it was they were looking for, but the careful eye could see one oddity. A Warrant Officer, not standing near any crates, not in amidst the scrambling away troopers. The strange, Doggish features, muzzle, ears, fur that covered her whole body, strangely shaped legs, the girl looking like a heavily body-modded Minkan who happened to have a fetish for dogs. She just stood off to the side, undoing her jacket and shirt, exposing the shortly shaved fur covering her body. A very careful eye would notice that she had always been in the Armour Bay, having only just moved out of the way of the soldiers trying to unpack their gear.

She didn't seem to have the same fervor. She simply undressed as if she were simply changing clothes, getting ready to get into pajama's of some sort. Something that would likely make any higher ranking oficer, or any soldier for that matter, froth at the mouth. This was a serious situation and they were being scambled! She would have to find her power armour, then her equipment, then get her weapons set up. This wasn't a stroll in the park, this was a serious situation that required attention now, and she seemed to pa it the same mind as if she were contemplating having a roll in the hay with someone. No conviction, no purpose to her actions.

Someone was likely about to say something to the now nude dog-woman, when she stepped up to a powerstand and moments later, was in her power armour, doing final inspection of her gear and equipment. Everyone else was still trying to find their parts, let alone had their armour in the stands already. It was a custom Mindy 4 unit, maintaining her doggish features and not squishing her face. With an Aether SMG sans bayonet, Energy projector, teleportation module, two counter measure pods on her legs, i addition to the SAoY Medical Kit strapped to the back of her armour. She was ready for combat, a light whine coming from her weapon...

... But who was she?

Bridge ----> PA bay

Icarus looked over the brief but vital information they had recieved "So he did take something with him" he thought to himself, he could understand why his captain wanted him to accompany the away team as they had just come together with no time to really get aquainted with one another they would do better with a defined leader. However Icarus preffered not to view himself as being above everyone else, at the end of the day physical performance in the field is what counts not a fancy rank.

"Hai Shosa, First Officer leaving the bridge to join away team." He spoke to no one in particular as he quickly walked out the door and headed for the PA bay, the Taii stretched out his wings as he moved working out the soreness in his muscles before folding them up against his back once more after he stepped into the PA bay. Icarus immediately noticed the very casual mannered member who seemed to be moving at their own comfortable pace and was not at all phased by what was happening around them.

"I do hope this mission isn't inconveniencing you right now." He spoke with the dry humour he rarely used, Icarus looked her up and down noticing the interesting appearance he tried to recall which of their members fit the description but drew a blank, all the rush had upset his neatly organised thoughts. "What's your name?" he asked moving to step into his own power armour while watching the dog-like figure gauging them by their next move.

PA bay

Alexia tapped her chin before stepping into her own armour, satisfied the weapon and other accessories were firmly attached. "I think I'd have to agree with you on that one-" getting cut short by the announcement that confirmed their guess, she noticed her brother stepping into the bay folding up his wings before moving over to where someone she hadn't even noticed previously had suited up.

"Your lucky day sir, it appears the powers at B have sent you an angel." Alexia did a movement test in her armour before heading towards the exit and waiting with the other infantry, she wondered what had caused her brothers neccessity for the mission but pushed the thought to the back of her mind, those sorts of questions weren't what she needed to focus on right now.

YSS WYVERN
Medical Bay

Zazriel was already helping those wounded to get back to work while the ship lurched forward again, they must be leaving port now. The minor disturbance was not enough to shake his staff, instead as he was approached by Yukiya Ellie, a visually stunning specimen herself as she looked to him for direction. Zazriel motioned to an empty bed as he began to look over the chef's vitals on his data pad before looking to Ellie. "Get an IV Drip, Basic Anti-Inflamatory to counteract swelling. Vitals look good, this just looks like a mild concussion, one of the handful that we have been dealing with. Ellie please look after our chef...it would be a shame to have to eat lackluster food because of an accident." Zazriel said bluntly, the Elysian had not really mastered subtle remarks that might trigger people.

He checked the outpatient notes, four concussions one broken limb, a dozen lacerations, but nothing severe. He would usher the other cooks out of the Medical Bay after making sure none were injured any further. Coming back into the room he would continue to look over the chef that seemed to be the last patient in the bay. "Good hustle so far everyone, make sure to keep yourselves clean, no spreading any blood around...standard protocols." He would say, hoping that nothing went wrong for the rest of his shift.

Dion Rothart sat at his station, nodding to the captain. "Aye." Was his simple reply. He wasn't a pilot by any means, but he had his fair share of "take the wheel" situations. The Elysian brought up two volumetric control panels above his desk, as well a sa large display. With a flurry of clicks and swipes, the Fuji class had its destination set. Flying en route to intercept the fleeing ship, maintaining a standard distance, enough for the power armored Away Team to have room to work.

Satisfied with their course, Dion opened up a communicator line with the preparing away team to resume his usual job. "Primary squad, this is Dion Rothart, mission control. We're a bit on the improvised side today, so listen up, and take the captains word." The elysian's voice was clear cut and almost authoritative, but not commanding. "We'll be in deployment range within a few minutes, but not on top of them. It would be safe to assume the target is armed and willing to defend, but it is customary to not draw first blood."

The Elysian shifted his head to the side, looking at the Captain. Now was the time to determine how their working relations would operate.

Luna Rophine was going through her equipment checks, waiting for everyone else to get their armour on ad get ready to go when she suddenly heard someone talking beside her. She lifted her head from her SMG, regarding the XO with a lazy turn or her head, before looking down at her SMG again. "An inconvenience sir? Well I would suppose not," She said, her voice lofty and dreamy as she finished her checks and placed the SMG on her thigh. "I am merely preparing to go sir," She added with a sigh. "Such a strange turn of events. First time in a while I have been on a ship and scrambled. I suppose it was luck I had decided to set up my armour..." She said, no conviction in her voice. Actually, it sounded like she was talking to her self, and all her comments and responses sounding like she was asking a question. "Such a strange thing, to be scrambled before the armour bay has been prepared," She finished as Dion's comments came over the radio.

She listened for a moment, then sighed. "I wish I had a cookie. I could use one right now. This will be the first time I have actually been in combat since the Battle of Yamatai..." She said to no one in particular. With that, she lifted her arm in a... Lazy... but proper salute. "I'll leave you to prepare sir. As for my name, I am Warrant Officer Third Class Luna Rophine. I'll be your combat medic on this mission," She said, before walking to her position at the bay door, waiting for the rest of the team to fall in with her. Once she stopped, she seemed infatuated with her gear, clearly not used to the features of the new Mindy. If someone were to even bother looking, her vitals would indicate a very slow, relaxed heartbeat. If she were any calmer... She would likely be dead...

Bridge

Aerlia offered Dion a reassuring nod as he slipped into his role excellently then hailed the ship they were quickly moving to intercept.

"Attention vessel, this is the YSS Wyvern of the Star Army of Yamatai. We have reason to believe there is a deserter onboard in possession of Star Army property. Respond immediately."

The main screen flickered to life, as well as broadcasting shipwide to be heard in all areas of the ship. The screen would reveal a rather dishevelled looking man with sunken eyes, retreating hairline and a harrowed look about him. Only his head and shoulders were visible but the deserter's working uniform was crumpled and it looked like he hadn't slept.

"Wyvern? You must have the wrong ship, we're a vessel en route to a resupply at a nearby spaceport. If you need assistance I'm sure we can help but I assure you there's no deserters aboard." he spoke coolly, as if he'd practiced those words.

The Shosa wasn't convinced. "Please state your vessel's IRN? I can't hear anyone else in the room with you, is there anyone higher ranking I can talk to?"

The man seemed caught off-guard, a small bead of perspiration forming in one of his bushy eyebrows. "Our number is NG-X1-408, everyone's off at lunch so it's just me."

One of the several bridge officers raised a hand into the Separa's line of sight, gesturing from side to side. Whatever he was saying didn't add up. Silently, Aerlia tapped a quick message into the console before her, sending it to Dion's console. It read: I'll keep him talking, deploy the Away Team and board him before he knows what's happening.

Medbay

Ellie followed Zazriel's instructions to the letter, wheeling one of the IV drips over from a corner of the room where it stood. Taking a small wipe she cleaned off the man's inner elbow and tapped it a few times for a vein. Finding one, the purple-eyed girl slipped the needle in with one smooth motion, glancing over to her superior. "Anything else I should do? It just looks like he had a bit of a nasty fall.." she half-asked, half-stated with a strangely upbeat tone.

Outside

Despite the smaller gunship being known for its speed, the newly designed Fuji-class was already beating the other ship despite it being at full speed. They were now within boarding range, all that needed to be given was the order and the operation would begin proper.

Medbay

Zazriel looked over to his assistant Ellie as she spoke. She was right, and it could be Zazriel's stubborn attitude and rather blunt personality with a sigh he gave her a nod and went back over to the cook. He examined the area where he struck his head, there was no cut, but the swelling was not going down at all even with the meds they were pumping into him. "Ellie bring me some a scalpel and let's drain the swelling on his head." Zazriel looked with his data pad as he prepared his hands with a wash and disinfectant. An assistant who's name he did not remember had already shaved the area of his scalp that was swollen. Making a note that the mass where he shaved seemed more like liquid, on the datapad. As soon as Zazriel was clean and prepped he looked at Ellie as she looked to be ready for surgery if needed.

He grabbed a scalpel and went to the smooth mass on his head as he made a small incision as what looked like both blood and pus drained out, which Zazriel quickly directed Ellie to put the a drain basin under the wound. Having one of the assistants bring the data pad to where he could see, he brought up the x-ray scans of the patients head provided by the table. He also scanned over to see he was checked in and cleared for duty with a head cold in his notes. "Damn it...does not look like the medic cleared him properly, he has been sick without medication for some time. A concussion received by a piece of equipment striking his head while infected with a common cold. Ellie prepare an IV mixture to add to his existing bag with antibiotics from the cabinet marked minor, tray c...I will drain this wound, the infection rate was quick...inform the kitchen staff they will be without their chef for 48 hours at least by my order." Zazriel concluded as he went back to draining the wound as the pus looked a sickly yellow, and the stench was putrid enough to cause him some mild discomfort while breathing. All seemed to be going good so far.
