John F. Whitmoor is a somewhat tall, older gentleman, in his late 50's. He has neatly trimmed greying hair, which was at one point black, and a matching handlebar moustache. Taisho Whitmoor is fit of both mind and body, and trains himself daily- He is very much a believer in the old school, and generally uses a different mindset than other Yamataian commanders, however, he is able to make these tactics work just as effectively as newer ones. A strict, but jovial man, he is quick to befriend, quick to discipline, and is always doing his best to help others and make sure that his people survive.

Taisho Whitmoor is a Nepleslian man who's served Yamatai his whole life. While a believer in the old-school, he was not comfortable with the crime, corruption, and vice of his home nation, and choose to stay with Yamatai when Nepleslia broke off. Due to his status as an officer and his 'luck' on being assigned away from Yamatai during the species restriction act era, Whitmoor was able to keep his original body- when the act was lifted he was miraculously assigned a post closer to Yamatai once more, just in time to miss the act. Throughout the many wars, Whitmoor slowly crept his way up the ladder of leadership, until finally landing the rank of Taisho in YE 34.
