Pale skin, dark eyes, long black hair, Japanese facial features, as a Ketsurui Samurai in the service of the star army, they are authorized to wear a red hakama and white yukata on duty, also wears a katana, and a black Nekovalkyrja Service Pistol, Type 27. Their hair is typically in a ponytail.

Always refined, she is stern-faced and serious. She never shows any emotion or eats in public, although she does have a sense of humor as long as it doesn't break her facade of seriousness. She is a good listener and is able to often see the subtext of what is meant. Despite her fearsome reputation as a weapons master, she is always kind and gentle when she can be. She has a passion for collecting weapons and armor and is extensively knowledgeable about them. Off duty and in private, she can be quite warm and welcoming.

Katchu Shi was born in YE 10 in the city of Geshrinopolis, Yamatai (Planet). From birth she was a member of the Ketsurui Samurai and as the years went on, one of the older members. She collects weapons and has a large personal collection which is loaned to the Star Army. She settled into a weapon's instructor role, which expanded into familiarizing other Samurai with the use and capabilities of weapons they might be unfamiliar with, including foreign and alien weapons. She eventually was allowed to create the Star Army Armory (Imperial District) for the Star Army. She has been in charge of it ever since. She lives in the Samurai Barracks above the armory.
