|Height:||6'2 Feet or 1.8 Meters|
Build and Skin Color: Najok possesses a slight build to match his tall stature. He is not overtly strong or muscled, but he is in good physical health. Najok has tan skin.
Eyes and Facial Features: Najok has ordinary eyes brown eyes and a simple visage. His face is rather uninteresting as he has few special features. He has a small nose and thin eyebrows. His mouth is small for a man who talks so much.
Hair Color and Style: Despite Najok's insistence on dressing nicely, he keeps his hair in poor condition. His long brown hair is messy and rarely ever combed. Most people agree that he definitely needs to wash it. He also has a seemingly permanent three-day stubble that seems to never go away or grow into anything else. All this gives him a strange contrast to his usually well-kept appearance.
Distinguishing Features: Najok's only distinguishing body feature is the peculiar fact that his left ear lobe has been removed. Aside from that, he seems rather normal.
Personality: Jovial and charismatic, Nojak draws his customers in with sweet-talking and compliments. He is a good man at heart, but he is not above manipulating a customer to get the best deal possible. Najok always plans for any eventuality that he sees, even going so far as to make sure he has a good friend in every city he visits, just in case.
Najok had a father and mother who were killed early in his youth. He also has a much older sister who serves in the Nepleslian military. He rarely sees his sister Veronica, and when he does their meetings are not happy. Najok also has an adoptive uncle who taught him all he knows about trade. His Uncle Barta is currently on another trading run, but the two often get together and have a good time.
Najok lived a humble life with his family until his parents were killed by a Neko that had gone haywire. His sister moved on to the military while he was taken in by a merchant named Barta who taught him everything he knows. For a time he traveled with Barta, making trades across the world, but now he has left on his own to try his luck as an independent merchant. Najok doesn't know what is in store for him, but he likes it that way. When you don't know what's going to happen, then everything is a surprise!
Trade, Seraphim, and Yamataigo
Whereas most men are taught to kill other people, Najok learned how to kill boredom. He's a decent story-teller who enjoys dancing and good humor. He can also sing for you, though it's probably best that he doesn't.
Najok is a merchant. He doesn't carry around huge rifles and Dragonslayer Greatswords, but he's smart enough to carry a few small weapons. He's passable with the retractable knife kept on his belt, and he's not a bad shot with a handgun. Curiously, he also carries around an expensive Asura's cane, which he has spent years lugging around. He's become so used to the heavy weapon that he can utilize it as a powerful self-defense tool. Whether he carries it purely for protection, or simply to look fancy, is up for debate.
Najok knows just enough about repairing machines to get by. Those long years traveling with Barta by shuttlecraft has had its fair share of breakdowns and parts found missing. Learning to patch up an engine or fix a sliding door became a part of his training to become a self-sufficient merchant.
A merchant who can't handle other people will be a sorry merchant indeed. Najok has tempered himself and learned to deal with all sorts of people, from pompous holier-than-thou nobles to cheating scumsucking bandits. He's learned the finer points of diplomacy and he has an elementary understanding of human psychology, all for the sake of fair trade.
If a merchant who can't deal with people is bad, a merchant who can't count is worse. Uncle Barta firmly believed that a merchant should be excellent in mathematics. Najok despised math in his youth, but now he's gained quite a head for it and it's served him well thus far.
Najok is a good pilot, at least when it comes to small crafts. He's best with older shuttle models (like the one he shared with Barta) but he has a good understanding of how most ships work. He flies best when it's a one-pilot ship, however. He finds it difficult to share the controls with other people, despite his social skills.

He's basically a traveling merchant who can carry the macguffin of the week if you like, or maybe drop a few plot points along the way, or maybe even give the other PCs a quick ride somewhere. He's not intended to be a hugely important character or anything, just another piece of the bigger picture. A side character is what would best describe him.
