Lars stands at 5'10“ and has a svelte figure. He has blue eyes and slightly darker blue hair which he keeps trimmed very short on the sides but long on top in a short ponytail. He is incapable of growing a full beard, but he neglects to shave part of his chin to make it look like he can.

Lars Ando was born in Malifar in YE 18. In YE 34 he was among the many refugees who stayed in Ternifac after the Battle of Yamatai. In YE 39 he enlisted and became a Star Army Technician. In YE 42 he finished his 3-year contract and started building and maintaining espresso equipment. In YE 43 he used his savings to purchase the equipment from a bankrupt bar that had been a client of his, which he used to found Ypperlig Café Worker Cooperative. He also acquired the lease on their premises.
