Aikiko is a player character. She is played by Jake (Doshii Jun).
Aikiko so rarely uses her given name, many forget she has one. On top of this, no one yet uses her nickname. Everyone knows her as Omura, and the name is fitting. However, a code name she has repeatedly used is “Yura.”
A muscular frame, but not overly so – just different from a Neko, even an NH-27. She looks like a fitness trainer. Her hair is kept short, just above the top of the spine, and is straight and jet-black. She will sometimes use her abilities as an NH-27 to grow it long and in a more traditional style as necessary. Her face is narrow, but filled out appropriately, with a fairly rounded chin. Her ears are also black.
Aikiko is picky about her weapons. She does not like NSPs, as the weapons are too big and easily give away her affiliation, no matter what model she uses. As slug-based weapons are still more often used in the known galaxy, she goes with them when there is a need for a relatively long-range kill. Energy pistols, while effective, give off energy signatures.
If she had her way, her work would be done with blades.
Aikiko also is very … serious. Not in an annoying, overbearing way. She simply seems to lack a sense of humor.
Cold. Without moral scruples. The Empire is what matters, and killing each and every last member of Black Spiral is her only desire. She is not entirely “brainwashed,” however – she is well aware of repugnance her duty carries, and she is aware the Empire is not blameless in its treatment of her kind. But she cannot balance the scales in favor of Black Spiral; aiding and abetting the enemy is simply unforgivable.
She also has a distinct absence of bloodlust. Such lust produces desires for things other than the completion of the stated objectives. It also theatens the mission, and even her very life. Better for one's karma, she once deduced, to kill with a blank mind and free conscience than to kill with emotion.
Aikiko was created for the same purpose all Nekos are. But unlike other NH-27, her first year of life did not involve the typical samurai training. SAINT took her as one of its lot, and she was trained as a professional assassin and covert operative for one year. The training was complete in scope and involved a few assassinations of lower-ranking officials and officers.
She was given two months to hone her training before she was assigned to YC-28.
Aikiko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in English and Japanese. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She also can speak telepathically.
Aikiko received extensive hand-to-hand and bladed combat training, followed up with a nearly unprecedented training program that involved sessions on several other planets within the Empire. She is skilled and experienced in combat in Yamatai-like conditions, in zero-gravity, and in more exotic locations (with and without weapons). Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, slug pistols, knives and power armor.
Aikiko keeps herself beyond normal shape for an NH-27. She is particularly acrobatic, though it is not often she gets to show it off. It's most commonly expressed through her enjoyment of climbing.
Aikiko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, which is found on all Star Army starships. She is highly proficient in entering and/or searching for information, in accordance with her training as a field agent.
Aikiko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.
Her skills at seduction are not the best; she is not exactly an A-list actor (closer to C-list). However, she is capable, and knows when a man is attracted to her body type.
A field agent must be able to survive in many different environments for extended periods of time with little or no support. Aikiko excels at this far more than infiltration.
