Height: 1.549 m (5 ft 1 in) Mass: 46.266 kg (102 lbs) Measurements: 32-22-34 Bra Size: 34B
Build and Skin Color: Tsuya is somewhat short, but as slim as most other nekos. Her skin is a light grey; on her left side she bears a long, jagged scar that touches her shoulder, hip, and leg. She bears this scar proudly.
Facial Features and Eye Color: She has light green eyes, fringed by very dark lashes and set in a slim face with a small but full mouth. Her ears look a bit larger than usual, though perhaps it's just due to her short hair.
Hair Color and Style: Her black hair goes only down to her ears, and is a bit frayed at the ends, typically somewhat frazzled when she isn't just relaxing.
Distinguishing Features: Tsuya projects a red-and-white tattoo of the kanji for 'Ichiban' just below her serial number.
Personality: Tsuya is quiet and reserved in her day-to-day life. She speaks in short sentences, and is reluctant to divulge anything too personal. Even though she seems to like social situations, she rarely participates much. However, when she is in battle, particularly within a power suit, she becomes much more animated and enjoys herself immensely - to the point of causing discomfort to many of her comrades.
Likes: combat, training, listening to others, mealtimes and cooking, going fast Dislikes: having nothing to do, losing (at combat or other competitions), cold weather, wide-open spaces, silence, those who boast Goals: to reunite the UOC
Star Army of Yamatai
Tsuya hasn't had time to make much history. Immediately after her growth she was sent into EF1, where she stayed for her full term before being released to await her very first assignment. During her time at EF1, she attended several additional classes on cooking, art, driving, and massage. She only particularly took to the first and third, and in fact only narrowly avoided ending up getting a few speeding tickets due to joyriding through the streets of Kyoto. After her brief brush with trouble, she decided to rein herself in and regain some focus before actually becoming a part of the army.
Tsuya was assigned to YSS Miharu as a power armor pilot and technician; her time there was unremarkable save for the contacts she made amongst her crewmates until the Blue Rift incident. There, Tsuya was wounded in combat with Eve. The intense pain helped her to focus; the young soldier had difficulty fighting off Eve's mind control due to her inexperience and youth. Despite her injuries, she remained in combat, and fought to the best of her ability. When Miharu was destroyed, she escaped with her fellow survivors on Hoshi and returned to her home planet.
After her time on Miharu, Tsuya was allowed considerable shore leave, but felt uncomfortable in civilian life and returned to active service shortly thereafter. She served a series of short stints on various Yamataian ships, and each sortie she ran only increased her bloodlust. The rush of combat combined with her shell shock from the Blue Rift had changed her. After one particularly gory event during what was meant to be peacekeeping during a civilian riot, she was drummed out of the Star Army for excessive brutality.
Tsuya left Yamataian space and joined the United Outer Colonies, who needed all the help they could get. She was stationed on Leo Star Fortress during the Second Mishhuvurthyar War, but avoided serious injury during the heavy fighting in the UOC. When the fledgling star nation was reabsorbed into Yamatai, Tsuya, despite her reservations, stayed on Leo to assist in the rebuilding effort. However, as a warrior, she felt as though her skills could be put to better use elsewhere - the perfect time for the arrival of Task Force Lantern.
Tsuya is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Nepleslian and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She is also a Nekovalkyrja and as such can communicate telepathically.
Tsuya received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.
Tsuya is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
Tsuya received basic mathematics training, up to algebra and trigonometry.
During her time at EF1, Tsuya discovered her interest in cooking. Now she pursues it as a hobby, practicing making meals in her spare time or reading cookbooks now and then.
In addition to her interest in power armor, Tsuya has learned how to drive various types of vehicles - specifically, trucks and ESTVs.
At EF1, Tsuya was taught to repair both power armor and starship systems, and regularly practices those skills.
