Build and Skin Color: Similar to most Nekovalkyrja, Yukiko is a slender, athletic, young adult female. She has light blue skin and has an hourglass shaped body.
Eyes and Facial Features: Her eyes are round and they have a dark gold color with little specks of red gold. She also has dark, long eyelashes. Her face is sharp and elegantly shaped. She wears light-violet shades under her eyes and uses dark, black eyeliner on her upper lids.
Ears: Her ears are Neko-style and one has a combination of jet black fur with pink streaks and the other one is fully jet black.
Hair Color and Style: Her hair color is jet black with pink streaks. She wears her hair long; it reaches a little lower then her shoulder-blades.
Distinguishing Features: One of her ears has a combination of jet black fur with pink streaks and the other one is fully jet black. She has human standard 5 fingered hands.
Personality: Yukiko is cool and analytical, and she is cold-blooded and ruthless, but deep inside she has inner child. She is little socially inept and she doesn't trust very easily because she doesn't like anything that she can't scientifically explain, which includes most of social interactions. She has a driving need to find out how things work, she has an aptitude for technology, and wants to create new and marvelous things. She also likes sex because it is very good stress reliever. She sleeps with plush Dino.
Star Army of Yamatai
After being created Yukiko went through standard basic training and then went to Ketsurui Academy, where she was trained in science and engineering. She spent there more time than others because she found out that she had an aptitude for technology and stayed for additional training. After that she was given her first assignment.
Yukiko is familiar with the basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Yukiko is fluent in Trade and can speak and write both correctly and efficiently. She can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.
Yukiko received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor. Her weapons of choice are small arms, and she also likes to name her guns.
Yukiko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. Thanks to her understanding of technology gained during her study at Ketsurui Academy she is capable of learning to operate almost all technology, which is logically built, very quickly.
Yukiko received advanced training in mathematics starting from basic algebra and trigonometry to dimension theory, etc. This is directly needed for her position as a scientist. She studied it during her science/engineering coursework, where advanced mathematics is must-know.
At Ketsurui Academy Yukiko studied sciences and specialized in understanding matter and energy on the micro and macro scale, so her area of study included high energy physics, quantum physics, and other relevant scientific disciplines. She is finding ways how to apply theoretical knowledge of the universe to experimental and applied sciences, and she wants to use this knowledge in parallel with her engineering skills.
Yukikos' secondary area of study at Ketsurui Academy was engineering. She studied it so she can apply her scientific knowledge to real uses. She specializes in inventing and designing new technology. She knows how to design weapons, power plants, and other tech. She has technically innovative thinking, when she sees technology she thinks about how to improve it or tries to find out its flaws.
For Yukiko being able to build her designs, she needed training in construction. She prefers nanoconstructs, because it is the most elegant way to apply her designs. She just programs schematics into nanobots and they will build it for her. She is also able to use other methods to construct something: welding, soldering, etc. She is also working on her own way of construction using magnetic alignment and molecular binding that will be applicable for large-scale construction with metallic/magnetic materials.
