Astrid Löwenherzt is a NPC controlled by GM Matthew who appears in the 69th Para-Military Squad plot.

Astrid is a rather short Abwehran woman at a height of 5'6“ with auburn hair that is cropped short. Her glowing blue eyes are covered by the typical goggles many Nightwalkers carry on them. It has often been stated that Astrid was probably built from spare Powered Armor parts because of how muscular she is compared to many women in service. A mural-like tattoo of some of Abwehr's mythical creatures stretches across her back to rise around her shoulders and biceps.

A combat medic that's rough around the edges, Astrid isn't the type to take flak from anyone. No one can doubt her courage however, since it takes more courage to rush out in the midst of combat to patch up wounded than just to be a combatant.

Born from the Löwenherzt Family, Astrid is one of many children in the clan-like family. Because of the Löwenherzt tradition of serving in the military, it was almost inevitable that she would join the military as well. However, unlike many of her siblings and cousins, she preferred the medical sciences to just grunt work. Therefore, she attended medical training after her basic training. After her training, her first assignment was actually the Marine Expedition Force sent to Khorsovarolor. Surviving that, she transferred to the Reserve Forces and then onto the Foreign Service as part of the more experienced personnel needed to train the more inexperienced ones.

Recently, Astrid has been having issues with her squad mate, Alban Farber. It is unknown exactly how this started or who even started it, but it has sometimes reached the point of all out brawling.

• Communications: Fluent in Abwehran and Trade. Can use any basic communications system.
• Fighting: Able to use powered armor, rifles, sidearms, swords, and knives. Is a capable hand-to-hand fighter in Panzer Faust.
• Mathematics: Knows algebra, trignometry, and calculus.
• Medical: Like many corpsmen, Astrid is capable in first aid and triage situations. However, Astrid is also taking pre-med courses online in preparation to enter medical school.
• Technology Operations: Is capable of using any basic Abwehran computing system.
• Vehicle: Can drive any civilian vehicle and non-armored, military vehicle.
