Dr. X is a middle-aged Nepleslian male of the Mareesha ethnic group, with a striking appearance that reflects his mixed Indian and Mexican/Chilean heritage. He stands at an average height, has a lean but sturdy build, and carries himself with an air of quiet confidence. Despite a challenging childhood marked by poverty and conflict, he managed to secure an education in genetics and cybernetics, fields that he was naturally drawn to.

His professional life began at Cerulean Biotech, where his ambition to push the boundaries of genetics and cybernetics was cultivated with a rivalry between himself and his team lead Rebecca Dotson. Always refusing to acknowledge anything that he created and contributed with as good, he increasingly became more consumed in proving to Ms. Dotson that he was a valuable member of the team.

One day in YE 07, he discovered that his latest ground-breaking research in genetic modification and cybernetic enhancement - a project he had poured his heart and soul into - was being patented under Ms. Dotson's name. The realization that his life's work was being outright being stolen now and that he was being used as a mere tool was a bitter pill to swallow.

Frustrated, he decided to confront Ms. Dotson, demanding recognition and justice. However, his pleas fell on deaf ears. Not only did the company refuse to acknowledge his contributions, but they also began to treat him as a liability, fearing he might become a whistleblower.

When Cerulean fired him under false allegations of misconduct, he finally snapped. Feeling betrayed and enraged, he made the bold decision to leak the stolen research (and more) to the public, sparking a massive scandal that rocked Cerulean Biotech to its core. In the aftermath, the man was left jobless and disgraced, shunned by the industry he had dedicated his life to.

However, instead of succumbing to despair, he saw it as an opportunity to break free from the chains that had held him back. He decided to (unknowingly) embrace his roots and returned to the Nepleslian Reds when he talked to a recruiter on the street that recognized him. Reinventing himself as Dr. X, he is determined to make a name for himself and to wield the recognition and power he was denied at Cerulean Biotech
