Ariel is a very quiet woman of few words, she is never happy except when she thinks about her past. She is now a broken woman, after finally finding out her husband was still alive she discovered his 'relationship' with Yui. Crushed, it stiffened her resolve to kill the woman who brought so much pain into her life.

Likes: Peace and quiet, reading, music, her husband (even after everything) Dislikes: Yamatai Star Empire, Yui, life in general Goals: To see the Yamatai Star Empire fall, Yui die and the Elysians become autonomous again.

• Kiriel Zemerias - Husband

Ariel was born into a wealthy Patrician family in YE 01. She was an adorable child, always happy and polite, however she also had an extreme sense of the appropriate and never ran wild around the house. She was loved and adored by both of her parents, who showered her with attention. In YE 08 her life was shattered; when the floating islands above Yamatai were destroyed she lost her parents, she was 'lucky' to have survived and was taken care of and sheltered by her father's brother Michael. She became more quiet and withdrawn, intent on making them proud of her even though they could not see her. Ariel picked up music and showed a great aptitude for it, becoming a very highly skilled musician and composer.

When she was 14, she met and fell in love with a fellow Elysian named Zemerias Kiriel on a single sunny afternoon high in the clouds over Yamatai. She and Zemer dated for a few months before marrying. By the time she was 15, she was the proud mother of a winged baby girl. Later that year, however, General Kitsurugi Yui (who later became Empress Yui) invaded the remaining heavens and conquered them. Their daughter was killed by a section of the Army under command of Ketsurui Chiharu. Ariel was killed, and Zemer barely escaped.

Ariel awoke to find herself healed and lying alone in the debris of her home. It is said the mysterious entity the Elysians worship had decided it was not yet her time. With no sign of Zemer (who had joined the Elysian Celestial Navy) and her only daughter dead, Ariel went into seclusion until recently.
