Kail was a PC created by Kai and is currently an NPC involved in the YSS Genesis plot.

Build and Skin Colour: Kail has a just less than average build, and slightly pale skin.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: She has a fairly rounded face, a small nose, and some freckles across the bridge of her nose onto her cheeks. Her eyes are a dark, vibrant blue.

Hair Colour and Style: Kail has dark blue hair that is kept relatively short. Her bangs cover much of her face, often covering one or both her eyes down to about her nose. There are two very long strands on either side, framing her face. Her hair is cut so that from these strands the sides and back angle up where they are eventually cut to about an inch long at the back of her head.

Distinguishing Features: Along with her freckles, there are some scars that she decided to leave as a sign of toughness.

Personality: Kail is a somewhat harsh woman. She can at times act tomboyish, and is more than willing to intimidate others if need be. She has a strong sense of duty and loyalty to her units, and will act very professionally when on duty. Kail Suffers from Bi-polar disorder, though she can usually hide it.

Likes: Miso soup, fish, hanging out with her friends, and teaching people. Dislikes: People who don't listen, Mishhu and extra spicy foods. Goals: To teach the younger generations of her sisters how to survive.

Kail had a Normal history for a Nekovalkyrja, serving for 5 years on various ships as a power armor pilot. after a while, she was given the choice of either continuing her service as normal, or becoming an instructor, as her affinity for teaching had started to become noticed. She was transferred to Fort Ready and serves as a Power Armor instructor at the base. During the battle of Nataria, she was assaulted by a group of Mishhu, and nearly killed. as she struggled to get into a PA and fight them off, she was rescued by a team of recruits fresh from the excercise they had been at. To show she was tough and a survivor, she had the scars caused by the encounter perserved rather than healed over.

After several tours of duty as an instructor, and with the advent of the second Mishhu war, Kail volunteered to help fight, by getting herself assigned to the YSS Illustrious as a combat pilot. Before shipping off, she spent many hours flying fighter simulators, but her years of power armor combat have slowed her progress in learning to pilot starfighters. While still a learner, she is however decent, and was capable of holding her own against the Simulator's computer.

Instructor

The YSS takemitsu Barely escaped the Destruction of the Nataria Fleet Depot, but was badly damaged in the process. Calling for aid, a distorted message managed to reach the YSS Senbu, an Anri-class repair vessel. Once attached to the ship for repairs, the two were set upon by a pirate vessel, which launched PA's to attack. Both ships sent out very few Power Armours, due to sensor distortions, and a skirmish ensued, comprising of a ragtag group from the Senbu's pride wing and a few Fort Ready recruits. Joining the Fray a little late, Kail Attempted to bring order to the situation, but when a damaged recruit ignored a direct order and followed an enemy PA into an Irim Hulk, Kail followed to get the recruit before she could be harmed. The recruit stumbled upon a trap and fled, revealing her damaged backside to the explosion. Selflessly, Kail put herself in harm's way to keep the recruit from dying. As the Irim exploded around the two, Kail did infact protect the recruit, at the cost of her arms and legs. After the fact, She was able to recover rather quickly by the use of a Hemosynth tank aboard the Senbu. She still holds a grudge against that recruit, however.

After the destruction of the fleet depot at Nataria, the SATA decided that it would be better to place training forts within the KMS, and moved the fort and all its resources to Fort Ready II on UX-13. Kail is getting ready to start off a new round of classes, having been finally Promoted and put in charge of the entire Powered Armor section of Fort Ready.

After growing tired of an instructor's life, and getting the urge to actually fight again, Kail Tarrim took temporary assignment on the YSS Illustrious as it was delivered to its assigned squadrons, taking control of the giant warship's Onyx Squadron during the trip. In transit, the Illustrious and its battlegroup came under attack by Mishhu forces, and Onyx was deployed to ac as a fighter screen against battlepods, allowing the ships to concentrate their fire on enemy ships. The Illustrious brought the battle to a quick close, and Onyx returned with no losses. After the Illustrious reached Yamatai, Kail was temporarily stationed there until new orders and a new assignment could arrive for her.

After serving a short waiting period on Yamatai, Kail was assigned to the 2xf's 21st fighter squadron 'The fighting diamonds'. She served as a primarily backup role in a number of battles, In which she fought extensively, but overall the unit seemed to lack something that the old Neko had been looking for but unable to find. Secretly, she began wallowing in Depression on her off hours, and decided to request a transfer to an irregular unit, hoping to find something to give more meaning to her life than being another cog in the machine of war.

Kail's most recent assignment was one to an experimental ship, the YSS Genesis

Kail received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor. She has had much experience in Power armor fighting, and is capable of diagnosing and fixing minor problems with the armor, as well as upkeep.

Kail is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Kail is fluent in Nepleslian(english), and Yamataian (Japanese). She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She is also skilled at using telepathy, and using her public speaking skils to teach recruits.

Kail is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Kail received basic mathematics training, up to algebra and trigonometry.

Kail is proficient in leading small squads of power armors into combat. She is also a very capable public speaker, using her skill to help teach.

Kail knows her way around a PA and through PA combat. She can teach a recruit how to pilot a Power armor and how to work in a team on missions. Her primary focus is power armor combat rather than maintainence

Kail is a veteran of 6 years of Star Army service, during this time she has learned to survive in many different conditions, including deserts, tundras, forests, and the like. she knows how t survive with and without supplies, and can live off the land if need be.
