Standing 5’8”, he has a light, wiry frame, with narrow shoulders and a rectangular torso. His hips, while wide, are bony, and his arms are rather small, although he has plenty of compact muscle. Being approximately 140 lbs, he’s too light for melee combat with most soldiers.

Styled with pomade, his dark brown hair is neat and well-kept, being done in a conservative fashion. He has bangs neatly parted and swept to each side, and his hair is short all around. It is soft to the touch, although oddly textured when styled, and turns an even darker shade when wet. His hair never covers the tips of his ears, and it often has so much pomade in it that even his cap couldn’t muss it up. Having gotten used to utilizing lavender-scented shampoo, he smells faintly of flowers.

His face can be described as ‘pretty’ rather than ‘handsome’, with open, elegant features. With large, almond-shaped dark brown eyes, they’re framed by thick eyelashes, and partially obscured by a pair of round-lensed glasses. His eyebrows are thin and slightly arched, although they’re often furrowed together. His lips are large and pouty, although his smile is radiant, and he has prominent dimples. His ears are slightly oversized, with a a round edge and a backwards curve to them. With an averagely sized nose, it is slightly upturned, with large nostrils. His jaw is sharply defined, being broad but of average size, with his teeth being relatively straight and pearly white. Oftentimes, he clenches his jaw, leading to a tense appearance.

A hard-working, diligent man, he gets his job done when it needs to be done, and doesn’t procrastinate, although this can lead to him missing out on other opportunities. Shrewd with money, he tends to only buy necessities, although he has a weakness for food, especially pastries, and will buy anything edible with a noticeable lack of self-restraint. While he will loosen up when appropriate, he is rather stiff, and follow rules down to the letter. A suck-up to authority, he will often take on extra tasks, even if he can’t necessarily handle the additional responsibility.

But while he seems cold while he’s working, underneath he’s simmering with passion for his job, and he dedicates himself to what he does. Off-hours, he is a bit more social, and although he isn’t particularly humorous, he does enjoy making conversation and interacting with his friends and associates. He enjoys having intellectual conversations with others, and is wont to chatter about whatever book he’s recently been reading, most often being case studies, books on herbs and medicinal plants, or other pieces of medical literature. He’s loyal to a fault, and isn’t afraid of launching into danger to help someone, although he strongly dislikes confronting authority figures. Angered by injustice, whenever he feels frustrated, he channels his emotions into either shooting dummies at the target range, or cooking until he runs out of ingredients.

He’s more attracted to intellect than people’s physical bodies and personalities, although the subject of his affections being a kind person is also important to him. Attracted to either gender, he’s blind to everything but a keen wit. Having grown up in a small village, he hasn’t had much romantic experience past his first kiss being with an elementary school friend outside the building before class started. Respectful, he treats others around him, especially his superiors, very kindly.

Kitamu Margot was born on 23日 2月 YE 19.

Kitamu Daichi and Elsa Fox met in YE 08 on a refugee ship traveling from a large city-like planet planet to a close-by Yamataian system that carried three hundred people, humans who had fled the Great Plague of YE 08. Aged eleven and thirteen, they bonded over the loss of their family members from the catastrophe, and, by the time Elsa was eighteen and they had both left the ship, they had gotten married in their temporary home. Having wed in YE 15, they decided to settle on the planet Anisa in the Anisa System, purchasing a farm by pooling together their extended family’s money. Together, they moved onto the land, and began running it as a family business. Soon after, their first son, Naoko, was born in YE 16, and their second son, Margot, was born three years later in YE 19 on a rainy day in early spring.

Raised on the farm, which raised a local cultivar of rice, he grew up under the firm hands of his aunt and father, and the more playful care of his mother and grandmother. From his mother, he learned to cook from an early age. He had his fair share of chores, but he also spent many days hiking through the coniferous forests of Anisa with his grandmother, who enjoyed exploration, collecting rocks and exploring a variety of natural wonders like animals and plants. It was under her care that he developed a passion for tending to the sick, her having worked as the village doctor, as the hospital was too far away and too expensive for many families in the area. When his sister, born in YE 23, choked on her dinner as a three-year-old, it was him who saved her life by helping her expel it from her esophagus.

In order to travel to school when he reached the age to do so, he walked for an hour and a half, then later received a bicycle that he used for transport after the Yamataian Empire incorporated Anisa as a territory. As he grew older, he began considering his career path, and he quickly decided on becoming a medic for the Star Army. While his father was reluctant to have him so far away and in such a dangerous occupation, his aunt thought it was a sensible career choice, and his grandmother, cousin, and siblings encouraged him to follow his dreams. Achieving high marks in his standardized testing, he was accepted to a prestigious university. Studying for four years, he majored in Biology, taking medical courses, and passed his certification tests to become a medic. He graduated in YE 41 and attended the Star Army Personnel Command’s basic training classes in the hopes of being accepted into a starship’s crew, studying for the required length of time before applying for an assignment.

Born four years before YE 01 and aged forty-four years, she is a lovely woman, with graying blonde hair that’s often pinned up, mischievous blue eyes, and obvious smile lines. Standing 5’3”, she has a light frame and narrow shoulders. Fled from Earth with her mother and father during the plague of YE 08 with several hundred other refugees, although neither of her parents survived the journey. She met her husband, Daichi, on that ship.

Kitamu Daichi, his father. Born two years before his wife, being forty-six, he has dark brown hair that’s still wholly colored, although it’s soon to begin graying. His skin is tan, while his eyes are dark brown. Standing 6’3”, he has a muscular frame from a life of farming, and steady, calloused hands. He fled with his mother, father, and sister from Earth during the plague of YE 08 on the ship he would later meet his future wife on, although his father died on the journey.

Kitamu Naoko, his brother. Born in YE 16 and aged twenty-five, he’s mature, and plans to take over the family farm when his father grows too old. He’s muscular and well-built, being 6’5” tall, and has doe-like dark brown eyes that contrast with his scary build. He has tan skin from hard labor outdoors, and dark brown hair.

Kitamu Jane, his sister. Born in YE 23 and aged eighteen, she’s mature and dignified, doing her work in a timely manner. With a head for mathematics, she hopes to go to school to become an engineer. With a curvy build, she stands 5’7”, with dark brown hair, medium skin, and dark eyes.

Kitamu Kinoko, his paternal aunt. Born five years after her brother, Kimura Margot’s father, she is forty-one years old. With dark brown hair, tan skin, and dark eyes, she’s a mature woman who keeps the order in the house. Only having one child, an illegitimate son, she also plays mother to her niece and nephews.

Kitamu Jun, his paternal cousin. The son of Kitamu Kinoko, he’s a high energy man, being twenty years old. He’s athletic, and enjoys farming, intending on working on the family farm with his cousin and other relatives.

Kitamu Mei, his grandmother. Being twenty one years old when her son was born, she is aged sixty-seven years. She’s regal and graceful, with entirely grey hair and a twinkle in her dark brown eyes. Having a kindred spirit with her daughter-in-law, she gets along well with her. A prodigy on the piano, she taught her grandson, Margot, from a young age, as he was the only one who wanted to learn the instrument.

He’s been taught since he was five by his grandmother, and kept up the hobby even as he entered into higher education for the medical field. He is very talented on the instrument, having nimble, dexterous fingers.

Having been taught how by his mother, he excels in baking, while his meat-cooking skills are rather lacking, almost always turning out over-cooked. His favorite dish to make is a cheese soufflé, having mastered the difficult recipe early on in his baking ventures. He has been taught several secret family recipes, which make him popular at potlucks and parties.

As a Biology major at his university, he is well-versed in the bodies of many sentient beings, alongside having a knowledge of general biology, genetics, and chemistry. He took courses that taught him to perform first aid on his patients, including dressing and cleaning wounds and suturing them, along with small emergency surgeries, although he is a recent graduate and thus is not incredibly talented with more complex procedures.

Able to operate radios, headsets, and other communication devices, he is competent with communication. He can speak Trade and Yamataigo, and can both read and write fluently in each of those languages. In addition, he can correctly fill out forms and write reports.

He has basic mathematical training, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry from his time in both secondary and higher education.

Kitamu Margot received his basic combat training in the courses he took before signing up for the Star Army, and is an incredibly accurate shot with a pistol, although he’s too light-framed for hand to hand combat against larger opponents. He often spends time at the shooting range when he needs to blow off stress.

Having grown up with two siblings and a cousin close in age, alongside playing with the other village children, he’s grown used to mediating conflicts as the level head. With a talent for negotiation and making compromises, he can use his natural politeness and calmness to mediate in any situation.
