Nakama Osakura is a light-skinned Yamataian who has a height of 180cm and weighs 55kg. Her heart-shaped face is accented by her brown eyes and brown hair she likes to keep shoulder length. She has a curvy but athletic build.

Osamura is an outwardly nice person that tries to be humble with her intelligence. Though she can be stingy about sharing resources she deems critical for her endeavors and standoffish. She is not above doing immoral things to get a job done or stepping on people to get ahead.

Born on Yamatai, Osamura was born into a middle-class family of merchants. Despite her family walking out on her and her mother when she was one, the money in the family was on her mother's side. So life for Osamura was fairly easy and educational. That is until the Battle of Yamatai in YE 33.

During that battle, she would see her mother die at the hands of the invaders while being whisked away by an armored Neko. Officially declared a war orphan when her father did not answer the calls to reclaim her, she was settled into the new Tsubomi City for those of her kind.

Osamura was initially a problem child as she found it extremely difficult to adjust to the fact that her mother was gone. She would come around when the person that saved her life, Suzuki Akira, would visit the child when on Yamatai. A bond would form between the two, helping Osamura finally adjust to reality.

She would develop an interest in computers, so after graduating high school in YE 36, she would attend university there for computer science. She would also take leadership courses instead of going to the Kyoto War College to obtain her degree.

In YE 40, after graduating with a degree in computer science, Osamura would enlist into the Star Army of Yamatai. She was selected from her class of IT specialists to attend INDOC by an instructor. In YE 44, she was promoted to Nito Hei but entered Basic Officer Training to be come an Intel Analyst. It was more suitable than being left to her own devices as an Intelligence Operative. After graduation, she was assigned to the YSS Kōun.

She, however, did not remain on the ship for long. After a first contact scenario, she requested an assignment swap with a fellow officer Intel Analyst graduate to distance herself from the ship.
