Ofelia is short and has pale skin, dark gold eyes, and should-length hair that's salmon pink. Like most Star Army soldiers, she is well-trained and competent at her job. She is very good with figuring out complex problems with damaged starship systems. She has a somewhat serious and standoffish personality and doesn't immediately fully trust people. It's difficult to make her laugh or smile so when she does, it's special.

Ofelia was born in YE 19. She joined the Star Army when she reached 21 in YE 40 and finished her training in early YE 41 and was stationed on the YSS Illustrious and helped perform major repairs on the ship after the Battle of Hanako's Star during the Kuvexian Invasion of YE 41. In recognition of her performance, she received a promotion that year to the rank of Nitô Hei. In 4月 YE 43 she was promoted to Ittô Hei. In YE 44.1 she was promoted to Jôtô Hei.

In YE 45 Ofelia earned a promotion to Nitô Heisho and was transferred to the crew of the YSS Renaissance under newly-minted captain Benna.
