Takaramono is a non-player character played by Nashoba with the Scientific Studies Service.

Build and Skin Color: Takara has a graceful build similar to Nekovalkyrja, her skin color is a soft pink.

Facial Features and Eye Color: Takara's very angular features reminiscent of a NH-29 except that she has normal Yamataian dentition. She prefers to wear light colored lipstick. She has bright violet almond shaped eyes.

Hair Color and Style: Takara has long emerald green hair. When left loose it hangs down to the small of her back. When working she puts her hair up in a bun (Chignon) and holds it in place with a Kanzashi.

Distinguishing Features: Takara has Nekovalkyrja style ears. She is seldom found without an Isolated Computer Pad

Personality: Takara is an inquisitive person. She enjoys learning new things and personal challenges. She is fiercely protective of her friends, team mates and Saiki Kouan. Takara has committed herself to helping make the Scientific Studies Service (SSS) a success.

Likes: Fine Wine, a good cup of Coffee, fresh fruit, working out, jogging, exercising, visiting digs, Saiki Kouan

Dislikes: Strong drinks, smoke,

Goals: Protect Saiki Kouan, ensure the SSS continues to grow and expand. Eventually maybe settle down and have a family.

Takaramono or Takara was manufactured in YE 23 as an NH-17 Nekovalkyrja for the Star Army of Yamatai. Shortly after completing training she was assigned to a ship as a starship operator. Once on board her training was specialized to make her a science officer. She enjoyed the challenges of being a science officer and the prospect of making first contact.

Over the years she met and worked with Saiki Kouan on numerous occasions. The two developed a professional friendship.

During several of their assignments, Saiki Kouan ran afoul of unsavory individuals looking to plunder the sites. Takara on these trips appointed herself his unofficial protector.

In YE 29 Takara decided she was going to leave the Star Army of Yamatai to work with her friend Saiki Kouan. Takara was concerned about her friend, who though he was a great scientist, had no real fighting experience. Takara decided that she needed to be with her friend so she could protect him. She heard about a new Nekovalkyrja body that was coming out and would be available for both military and civilians. She was prepared to transfer to a NH-29 until she learned that it was not going to be offered to civilians.

Takaramono held the rank of Nitô Juni at the time of her separation from the service.

So in the beginning of YE 30 Takara left the service and transferred to a Yamatain body, but opted to keep her Nekovalkyrja ears. She started working with Saiki Kouan. In the later part of the year when the SSS became a reality she joined it. Officially she is listed as Saiki Kouan's personal assistant. She is also his research partner and self appointed body guard.

Takaramono is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other personnel through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in Nepleslian and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Takara is skilled with telepathic communication.

Takara received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, grenades, energy rifles and power armor.

Takara is capable of operating any PANTHEON computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Takara received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

During her service Takara obtained a solid basic Science skill, and studied Archeology and Planetology. She has been taking additional courses through the SSS Primary Campus.

Takara is familiar with the capabilities, setup and operation of the SSS Collapsible Rapid Deployment Modules. Takara is also trained in basic field protocols, such as working a site, preserving artifacts, etc. She is trained in observation, and note taking (audio or written).

Takara's first duty assignment was as Starship Operator. She if fully versed in operating most bridge functions, including helm, navigation, Astrometry, and stellar cartography
