S6-FG

In YE 40, Section 6 needed a new line of tactical hand equipment for use in the field - so the boys in the weapons labs came up with a simple fragmentation grenade that was available as a hand grenade or as a launchable 40mm cased grenade. The device features a completely analog detonator, making it impervious to electromagnetic pulses; when the fuse at the center is triggered, the explosive compounds inside the grenade ignite and cause the device to detonate - which shatters the outer casing and sends the resulting deadly fragments outwards from the point of detonation.
