By YE 41, the Sunflower Corporation had cleaned up Tokyo on Jiyuu III (Jiyuu) following the Second Mishhuvurthyar War and the tragic events of YE 39 that destroyed much of the city. The return of Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko and the reunification of the Motoyoshi Clan set the stage for continued restoration and cleanup across the Yugumo Cluster.
In the early part of the year, Motoyoshi Hanei Kaisha reacquired Motoyoshi Fleet Yards and Peacekeeper Heavy Industries. The companies represented the bulk of the industrial complex of the region that had not been claimed by Sunflower Corporation. Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko and Motoyoshi-Igarashi Yuka then set up a meeting with Kage Yaichiro and together they decided to merge the corporate structures of their companies as a strategy to stimulate the economy, create jobs, and to continue the rebuilding process on a larger scale. The Yugumo Corporation would continue the role Sunflower Corporation played as the main utilities and maintenance contractor for Tokyo's infrastructure. Later that year the former PHI division Juugoya Cooperative became an official subsidiary, focusing on developing agricultural & aquacultural infrastructure to ensure sustainability & self-sufficiency of the growing cluster's food supply.
