Kakutama Heavy Industries was a corporation founded in early YE 30.
Kakutama Heavy Industries was founded, owned, and operated by the Shichou Clan. Their headquarters is within the Jiyuu where they own an office building within the city of Tokyo, and several industrial complexes. They produced anything from starships to personal body armor and everyday accessories. They held military and civilian contracts throughout the United Outer Colonies, and had even been collaborating with the Lorath Matriarchy.
KHI was managed by Soresu. Many of it's assets were destroyed during the Second Mishhuvurthyar War when the United Outer Colonies was overrun by the Mishhuvurthyar, although some of its employees were evacuated by the Star Army of Yamatai in YE 33. In YE 37, its remaining corporate assets were absorbed into Peacekeeper Heavy Industries.
In YE 41 when Peacekeeper Heavy Industries was merged into the Yugumo Corporation, so was Kakutama Heavy Industries.
