The Jiyuu Stellar Siphon System is part of the Motoyoshi Fleet Yards operated UOC Powergrid.
In orbit around Proxima Jiyuu are six Stellar Link Siphon (Retconned) arrays which transfer helium from the star to the Compressed Helium Containers to fuel Pressurized Helium Reactors in the Jiyuu System. These arrays account for roughly forty to sixty percent of the normal energy mix for the planets in the system. During threat situations however the colonies rely on ground based systems.
The siphons also transmit fuel to civilians that are on MFY's power plans for filling of ship-based Compressed Helium Containers to fuel their Pressurized Helium Reactors.
The on board production bays also construct and fill Compressed Helium Containers for pickup.
