Also known as the CSAA, the Civilian Space Administration Agency is a civilian organization founded by the Abwehran Empire in AF 14 to administrate all civilian space operations in Imperial Territory. Mostly responsible for the operation of public Civilian Orbital Space Stations, they are also in charge of future colonization operations within and outside of the Jaspis System. The CSAA also works with the merchants in dealing with trade and commerce throughout the Empire.

Responsible for the maintenance and frequent updating of star maps, the Astrogation Division of the CSAA is one of the most active of the two divisions. This is mainly because they try to keep the star maps and system maps updated with every important or dangerous stellar body. Though this is quite difficult in newly discovered systems for a period of roughly two to three years as mapping systems are transported and set up, it is still an important job.

The second of two divisions, the Station Management Division is responsible for maintaining, constructing, and renting facilities in all Civilian Space Stations within Imperial Territory. This includes both public and private stations. Though with private stations in Imperial Territory, it is a voluntary thing while public stations are owned and operated by CSAA. The CSAA is also responsible for renting out “orbital slots” for foreign companies to build their own space stations in Imperial Territory.

Note: One slot equals one room facility with a maximum of 50 rooms available for larger corporations (50 slots). Embassies take ten slots and are discounted 50%.
