The Stabsfeldwebel is the lowest Warrant Officer rank and has the equivalent authority of an O2 in any other branch. As a technical/specialist leader, a Stabsfeldwebel is in command of specialized enlisted personnel¹⁾ in a specific department.

In the High Command, Stabsfeldwebels normally fulfill security and steward positions.
