PA Armor, or the armor of Powered Armor suits, is a dual-layer armor system rather than the typical tri-layer armors used in the Abwehran Armed Forces (AAF) in the year AF 260 (YE 31). It is also not an solid shell of armor either. Instead, the layers are two separate types of armor. The layer that covers the majority of the operator is called a 'sheath'. Comprised of a mesh of carbon nanotubes, the 'sheath' is a flexible armor that covers the Powered Armor's skin in order to protect the operator from projectiles. The outer armor or 'plates' are comprised of Durandium Alloy and cover only vital locations such as the torso, thighs, biceps, etc.
