The LANCE Launcher was designed by Dietrich Starkwerk in the Second Quarter of AF 260¹⁾. It was meant to be an Anti-Armor weapon using the LANCE Munitions.

The LANCE Launcher is used to deploy LANCE Munitions against armored targets. It is simple, but effective.

After loading the LANCE Munition of choice, the user will place the exhaust end of the launcher on his/her shoulder, take at least one of the handholds, and to fire will pull the front trigger to release the munition. The munition will be propelled by the magnets inside and be flung out at high speeds.
