Within the Poku Saeruo Degonjo the Bajao'ka Norjopa are the engineers of new equipment. They are not to be confused with the Bajao'ka Tinsae (Starship Engineer). Within the occupation there is some specialization, but all members of it, can design a product, provide schematics, to fulfill a set of requirements.

Persons working in this occupation can hold any Sabu (Rank). Their rank is commensurate with their skills, subject matter and abilities. Apprentice level Engineers, work as assistants, performing tasks as requested by senior members. Journeyman are allowed to work on a complete project.
