Sodira is a high-grade composite material, used by the Sahaad primarily for the manufacture of body armors for battlesuits. Being a combination of woven natural carbon, carbon nanotube and Aramid fiber mesh that is then pressed into a ceramic plate sandwiched in between thin boron carbide sheets forming a tough material against a wide range of weapon types. The process is finished when the addition of HPPE coating on both sides is applied. With a photochromatic coating being optional for increased protection against laser-based weaponry, though as of late this has become standard practice. Overall the material provides a modest level of protection despite being a light weight material.

• Minor Radioactive Protection: Provides minor radioactive protection in the event of fallout or naturally occurring environmental radiation.
• Kinetic Penetrator Resistant: A material of many alternating layers, it transfers kinetic energy over a larger surface area decreasing point of impact damage while increasing resistance to penetration by trying to combine the best attributes of both traditional plates and bulletproof vests.
• Light Weight: Made to be light, Sodira usually does not impede the wearer due to strain of having to move with a heavy armor.
