Vehicle repair bays are designed to serve as a workspace for engineering crews to service vehicle units. Vehicle repair bays include similar rack systems as the vehicle storage bay, yet are designed for temporary storage of a vehicle unit, and are designed to mount around a vehicle in a manner which provides optimal access for engineering crews. In larger ships, vehicle repair bays can include automated computer controlled systems which can automatically perform maintenance, replace parts, and repair damage to vehicles as they are taken to and from the vehicle repair bay by the vehicle lift system.
