The 155mm SG Cannon is the main gun for the Maximus heavy tank. It is the largest caliber gun mounted on any Nepleslian vehicle.
About the 155mm "Say Goodbye" Cannon
Designed and manufactured in YE 35, the 155mm “Say Goodbye” (SG) cannon is a weapon designed specifically for the Maximus and Maximus (RUSE). It serves as the main armament for the vehicle and is used as a direct fire weapon. It can also be used, if the tank is on a slope, as an indirect-fire weapon.

Appearance
The 155mm cannon has a long, cylindrical barrel visible. Two short electromagnetic rails line top and bottom of the barrel. Near the end of the barrel is a fume extractor. Given the larger end of the barrel, many tankers choose to decorate the mouthpieces with nose art on the sides.

Weapon Mechanisms
The SG is a manual breech loading tank cannon. It is controlled by an electronic Fire Control System (FCS) and laser guidance system. Gunners can also make use of a day and night vision enhancement system. Spent munitions are ejected from the breech.
