The Less-lethal Acquisition Glue (LAG) Grenade is a 40mm grenade developed in YE 33 for single target capture operations. It contains a blue adhesive latex that upon contact with the target, envelops them in a substance that shrinks upon contact and restricts all movement and is compatible with a variety of NAM 40mm Platforms.

The grenade itself has a rubber head designed to absorb much of the force of impact, a thin plastic casing to contain the glue in flight, and a casing containing a lower than average charge to fire the round at a slower velocity than most 40mm ammunition.

Upon impact with a target, the rubber head breaks the plastic casing, causing the glue to slosh out and splatter against a target. It quickly hardens into a strong, stretchy, latex that clings tightly to the target. Typically the initial impact is enough to disorient an unarmored individual long enough to put enough rounds on target to fully immobilize an individual.

The grenade was originally proposed by Avel Sitkeas in YE 33 and quickly developed into a workable weapon system. Currently the weapon has been distributed to various units for field testing.
