Found on only large vessels, stations, and on certain specialized ships used by the Kingdom of Neshaten. The Large Engineering Bay takes up nearly eight decks, if not more depending on specialization. The deck has room for one Lunabaren High-Energy Reactor and over eight Lunebaren Reactors that provides backup power. There are a large number of monitoring stations located throughout the bay so that onboard crew can easily monitor the reactor from practically any location.

Large coolant pipes run both overhead and under the decks, to provide coolant to the reactor. The FTL component is located behind a secured bulkhead, to protect it from potential harm.

The bay itself is circular, and always zero-g, although ladders exist to allow crew to easily access the upper or lower floors. A number of maintenance hatches exist on both the top, middle, and bottom levels so that crews can access the maintenance hallways.
