This is to be a full history of the United Outer Colonies citing actual roleplay in the SARPiverse. It was compiled in 2021 by Andrew.

The events prior to the formation of the United Outer Colonies in which triggered the declaration of Independence from the Yamatai Star Empire.

The Taiie System was a colony of the Yamatai Star Empire. It was the Headquarters of the forming Motoyoshi Clan and the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. It was attacked in the Battle Of Taiie.

In YE 29, during the First Mishhuvurthyar War the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) attacked the Taiie System which led to tragedy. Melisson in command of a new Shlarvasseroth-class Flagship fired its transposition at the system's star which caused it to go Hypernova which resulted in the destruction of nearly everything in the Taiie System within a window of approximately fifteen minutes.¹⁾²⁾³⁾

Some civilian starships, shuttles, and other craft managed a narrow escape along with some of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet, which included Hotaru Star Fortress and Himitsu Star Fortress. The loss of life in the tragedy was astronomical.

Survivors from the Battle Of Taiie are taken to Pisces Station. The Zodiac-Class Star Fortress was still under construction and the station's PANTHEON system had not yet been installed. The station under the command of Taisa Marina Arisa is overwhelmed by displaced refugees of the First Mishhuvurthyar War, including those from Taiie. Through a series of unfortunate events and inexperience of the station's commander, refugees are subjected to improper living conditions, and some are murdered. The survivors from Taiie contacted the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet about the atrosities on the station. Taisho Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko responded and reported the incidents to Star Army Command. Taisho Kessaku Irim arrived at Pisces Station and arrested the station's commander.⁴⁾

The Tange Clan tributary of the Motoyoshi Clan with the assistance of Angelica, a Nightmare Type Mishhuvurthyar convince the Hanabusa Tributary (also part of the Motoyoshi Clan) to commit treason against the Yamatai Star Empire. Motoyoshi-Tange Misato influenced Hanabusa Tonsho to turn against Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko and defect to the NMX. Hanabusa Miho was killed trying to stop the defection when she tried to kill Motoyoshi-Tange Misato. It led to a festering relationship between the Tange Clan and Angelica to seed treason within the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. ⁵⁾

Hours before the defection of the Hanabusa to the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX),Motoyoshi Kiyoko was ordered by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko to kill Hanabusa Miho, the leader of the Hanabusa pledge family and leader of the defecting parties. She also fired shots at Tange Misato and Yuriko Towa, the reason behind which is suspected to create confusion on the part of investigators but it has never been further looked into since the initial investigation.

In YE 30, Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko confronted the Emperor of the Yamatai Star Empire, Kitsurugi Uesu about the true origins of the Great Plague of YE 08. Uesu admitted his knowledge of the relationship between the Mishhuvurthyar and the Nekovalkyrja, as well as explained his role at PNUgen Corporation. He also explained that the Black Spiral had been in league with the Mishhuvurthyar.

Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko accused Kitsurugi Uesu of doing nothing to prevent the First Mishhuvurthyar War and the Emperor defended his position and reinforced the place of the Yamatai Star Empire in the Kikyo Sector. Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko suggested the throne should be handed to Ketsurui Himiko, but Kitsurugi Uesu gave the throne to her instead. ^6)7)8)9)

Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko announced that the Motoyoshi Clan tributaries would be consolidated into the Motoyoshi Clan under the Motoyoshi Name. The Tange Clan is very unhappy with this turn of events and begins to plot against Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko.¹⁰⁾ Oblivious of the Tange Clan's involvement in seeding treason in the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet, Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko appoints Motoyoshi-Tange Misato as the head of Star Army Intelligence.

Members of the Tange Clan, including Motoyoshi-Tange Misato began to work against Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko from within the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. They target and successfully indoctrinate Katsuko's daughter Motoyoshi Kiyoko.

Under the influence of Melisson¹¹⁾, Tange Amaya¹²⁾ the senator for the newly colonized Jiyuu System to suggest that the Yamatai Star Empire should open a diplomatic dialog with the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX). ¹³⁾ Prince Motoyoshi Tio supported the Senator's request and their efforts led to the International Relations Conference of YE 30.¹⁴⁾ This initiates romantic interest between Tio and the Senator. ¹⁵⁾

The Tange Clan through these two accomplishments has influence over both Motoyoshi Tio and Motoyoshi Kiyoko.

The International Relations Conference of YE 30¹⁶⁾¹⁷⁾.

Prince Motoyoshi Tio's attempt to bring diplomatic healing to relations with the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) turned sour at the Conference. The result was the failure of establishing any kind of meaningful resolution between the SMX and Yamatai, it was later claimed by Melisson that Tio's outburst towards her was what lead to the Second Mishhuvurthyar War.^{18) 19)}

Tio's flirtations with Tange Amaya continued throughout the summit.²⁰⁾

Following the conference's conclusion, Tio was responsible for deploying two Imperial Decrees to the Senate on behalf of his mother; The Draft on an Azorean Trade and Tourism Agreement²¹⁾ and the Request to Make a Treaty with Nepleslia²²⁾.

During the Freespacer Massacre and Related Battles ²³⁾, which was partially driven by intelligence shared by Kage Yaichiro that the Freespacers intended to hack the Star Army of Yamatai. ²⁴⁾²⁵⁾ As a result, Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko contacted Ketsurui Yui²⁶⁾ to deploy the Star Army of Yamatai against the threat.²⁷⁾

The Tange Clan used this opportunity to deliver the first blow to Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko, they had Motoyoshi Kiyoko with support from the Lorath Matriarchy, the The Maras, and the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) interrupt the operation and attempt to assassinate Ketsurui Yui. The Star Army of Yamatai and Ketsurui Yui responded in force and the treasonous Motoyoshi Kiyoko was killed in the battle, her actions however would have an impact on Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko.²⁸⁾²⁹⁾

In the aftermath of the International Relations Conference of YE 30, Tange Amaya and Motoyoshi Tio returned to the Jiyuu System. The Tange Clan's influence over the Colonies established in the Yugumo Cluster and the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet leads to the activation of Operation Freedom Cake. ³⁰⁾

In Operation Freedom Cake Tange Amaya and Motoyoshi Tio declare the independence of the colonies and officially forms the United Outer Colonies. The Tange Clan plays another hand in their quest to bring the downfall of Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko, they influence Koyanagi Mayumi to bring the corporation of the Motoyoshi Clan, Motoyoshi Fleet Yards along with the clan's financial holdings to the newly created United Outer Colonies.³¹⁾

The Tange Clan celebrated not only independence but their victory over Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko, with her assets being frozen and moved by Koyanagi Mayumi and the shame from Motoyoshi Tio an Motoyoshi Kiyoko's actions, she steps down from the throne of the Yamatai Star Empire. ³²⁾³³⁾

On the night that Independence was declared he shared a romantic evening with Tange Amaya which lead to the conception of Motoyoshi Eidan. ³⁴⁾

After independence was declared, Motoyoshi Tio had Motoyoshi Saito contact his mother Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko on his behalf to request the ST data for his sister Motoyoshi Kiyoko. At the same time, Motoyoshi Saito attempts to tell Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko that she is welcome to go to the United Outer Colonies. Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko provided the ST data and refused the invitation.³⁵⁾

Motoyoshi Kiyoko is revived and is given leadership of the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces. ³⁶⁾ The Tange Clan resumes their influence over her, but in the absence of Motoyoshi Misato, she switches things up and takes control of the Tange.

The Government of the United Outer Colonies is formed with the creation of the Constitution of the United Outer Colonies. Tange Amaya is elected as Prime Minister, and Motoyoshi Tio is declared as Crowned Prince of the United Outer Colonies. The Jiyuu no Motoyoshi becomes the symbolic monarchy of the new nation. ³⁷⁾

The Constitution of the United Outer Colonies is amended a short time later which includes the Lorath Matriarchy in the United Outer Colonies ^{38) 39)}

The first legislation of the new government, proposed by the Prime Minister, was the Spirit of Taiie War Orphan Act which handled the orphaned survivors of the Battle Of Taiie.⁴⁰⁾

The Peacekeeper Charter of YE 30 is written, which officially forms the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces.

In the early days of independence the tensions were high between the newly formed United Outer Colonies and the Yamatai Star Empire.^{41)42)43)44)45)46)} The tensions led to the creation of the Intergalactic Armistice Agreement of YE 30 (IAA) followed by the YE 30 UOC-YSE Treaty which countered the escalation between the two nations.⁴⁷⁾

The treaty led to the return of the rest of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet and Star Army of Yamatai equipment to the Star Army of Yamatai. The The Akuro III, a super-flagship designed by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko and Koyanagi Mayumi remained as part of the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces and became the flagship of the fleet under the command of Motoyoshi Kiyoko.

The Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia played a critical role in the support of the new United Outer Colonies nation. Sky Marshall Robert Davis led a vote which was successful in officially establishing relations between the two nations.⁴⁸⁾⁴⁹⁾

The Abwehran Star Empire initiated diplomatic dialog with with the United Outer Colonies in mid-YE 30 ⁵⁰⁾ During the negotiations Prime Minister Tange Amaya fell ill and her pregnancy with Motoyoshi Eidan was confirmed.

The United Outer Colonies had a trade agreement with the Azorean Commonwealth, but no official document was ever made.

The Lorath Matriarchy frequently focused on revenge plots against the Yamatai Star Empire, and held secret meetings with the The Free State and other parties to discuss deals that did not necessarily align with the Government of the United Outer Colonies. ⁵¹⁾

The Tange Clan continued to manipulate the United Outer Colonies and used their influence over Grand Peacekeeper Motoyoshi Kiyoko and Koyanagi Mayumi to further their goal to create friction between the Yamatai Star Empire and the United Outer Colonies. The Tange Clan developed a strategy in which they used pirates to do actions that the United Outer Colonies couldn't risk taking responsibility for.

In YE 30, a group of Tange Clan sponsored pirates used a group of witheld Kyoto-class Carrier, that had not been returned to the Star Army of Yamatai to attack the Nataria Fleet Depot. ⁵²⁾ The attack was blamed on pirates, the Star Army of Yamatai and Nataria Fleet Depot recovered from the attack, but ultimately the attack was planned and coordinated by Motoyoshi Kiyoko.

The Tange Clan in cooperation with the Lorath Matriarchy continued to sponsor pirate actions within the United Outer Colonies to trigger increases in ship production for the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces and the Lorath Self Defense Force.⁵³⁾

A lesser-known second International Relations Conference was held at the end of YE 30 and into YE 31. It was hosted by the Yamatai Star Empire by Empress Himiko I to discuss serious concerns in her nation about the United Outer Colonies collaboration with the The Free State.⁵⁴⁾

Mochizuki Ayumi, Shinichi Deguchi, and Alexander Romani represented the Government of the United Outer Colonies along with High Priest Velor Tomoe Tur’lista for the Lorath Matriarchy. Other nations and their representatives included Sky Marshall Robert Davis for the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia and Andariel Vokos for the Elysian Celestial Empire. Taisho Shimizu-Motoyoshi Akina (清水本吉明菜) also joined on behalf of the Yamatai Star Empire with Empress Himiko I.

Empress Himiko I addressed her concerns about the United Outer Colonies and their alliances early the conference. She also pointed out that the Lorath Matriarchy repeatedly were violating their acceptance conditions into the United Outer Colonies by producing weapons of mass destruction. She offers to assist the United Outer Colonies in the enforcement of their own Constitution of the United Outer Colonies and shares her openness to trade and peace between their nations.

The delegation from the United Outer Colonies responded with suspicion about the level of the Yamatai Star Empire's knowledge of acts behind their borders and defends the Lorath Matriarchy position and they present a proposal regarding tariffs on trade. During the discussion about trade it appears that Empress Himiko I has to reel in her accompaniment to keep the negotiations running smoothly. ⁵⁵⁾

Andariel Vokos in representation of the Elysian Celestial Empire presents a shocking proposal, that the people of the Elysian Celestial Empire wish to return to being part of the Yamatai Star Empire. A trade agreement was also reached between the Elysian Celestial Empire and the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia.

During the proceedings an NMX attack interrupts the conference and Empress Himiko I moves Pisces Station to the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia temporarily to protect the station and the delegates.⁵⁶⁾ As a result of shock from the attack Taisho Shimizu-Motoyoshi Akina (清水本吉明菜) gives birth to triplets. The conference is then ended prematurely. ⁵⁷⁾

The Second Mishhuvurthyar War which began in YE 31 marked the beginning of the end of the United Outer Colonies.

In YE 31, the Lorath Matriarchy and the United Manufacturing Cooperative send a colony ship to the Star System E-5, it was evaluated as viable for colonization but there is no evidence of it ever being colonized. ⁵⁸⁾

In YE 32, Motoyoshi Tio the Crowned Prince of the United Outer Colonies disappeared without a trace, which gave the impression he abandoned Tange Amaya and his new born son Motoyoshi Eidan. It was not revealed until YE 41, that Motoyoshi Tio had been held captive and tortured by his sister, Motoyoshi Kiyoko on the The Akuro III. ⁵⁹⁾

In early YE 32, as the harsh reality of the Second Mishhuvurthyar War set in, Prime Minister Tange Amaya set out on a secret mission to locate Melisson to plea for the United Outer Colonies and its people. The meeting reveals that Melisson blamed Motoyoshi Tio for the outbreak of the Second Mishhuvurthyar War. Melisson convinces the Prime Minister that if she surrenders the United Outer Colonies and allows her to exact revenge against Motoyoshi Tio for what she perceived as his interference with the Yamatai Star Empire's surrender, that she will spare the United Outer Colonies. Between Melisson's manipulation and Tange Amaya's wound over Tio's disappearance, Tange Amaya returned to Tokyo with the intention to surrender.⁶⁰⁾

Later in YE 32, the United Outer Colonies goes dark. All communications are jammed and the Tange Clan makes their move. Tokyo becomes the home of a hastily declared martial law and a civil war between the Tange Clan loyalists and the rest of the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces. The Prime Minister, Tange Amaya along with her son Motoyoshi Eidan is taken into hiding by those loyal to Motoyoshi Tio.⁶¹⁾

The LSDF Trishka, under control of the Lorath Matriarchy arrived in at Jiyuu III and discovered the unrest. They launched an orbital bombardment to assist the remnants of the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces against the Tange terrorists. ⁶²⁾⁶³⁾

The tide of the NMX forces move in on the immobilized United Outer Colonies and with the Government of the United Outer Colonies and Prime Minister Tange Amaya gone and unable to surrender, the NMX savagely attack the United Outer Colonies. The Yamatai Star Empire concludes that the United Outer Colonies is a fallen nation. The Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia assisted with massive evacuations from the region following the initial NMX attacks.⁶⁴⁾

The Lorath Matriarchy and the Yamatai Star Empire liberated the worlds of the United Outer Colonies as the Second Mishhuvurthyar War came to an end. The fate of many United Outer Colonies was handed to the Lorath Matriarchy in the Defense Arrangement Treaty (of the) Alliance of Signatory States in YE 36, in which them and the Yamatai Star Empire entered an uncomfortable cooperation to control the region. It ended with Project Checkout, in YE 39 where a large portion of the Lorath Matriarchy left the Kikyo Sector. The worlds were then returned to the Yamatai Star Empire.

Two years later in YE 41, the Yamatai Star Empire loyalists from the Motoyoshi Clan returned to the region and launched a massive effort which would by YE 43 create the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector. ⁶⁵⁾

In YE 42, it was revealed that Motoyoshi Eidan had been taken into hiding and given a normal life under an assumed name and that Tange Amaya eventually fell into the hands of Motoyoshi Kiyoko and the Tange Clan.⁶⁶⁾
