Journeymen are sometimes senior Scientific Studies Service (SSS) members of the Tanken department, however most are personnel hired from outside the organization who have valuable skills.

Personnel from outside the sss can receive training as a Journeymen. Regardless of their chosen career, they will learn the Expedition skill as outlined below.
