The Gashmere Humanitarian Assistance Medal is a military award of the Star Army of Yamatai.
In late YE 44, the ongoing Kodian Civil War escalated severely as terrorist attacks occurred on Gashmere.
In YE 45.1, the Izanagi-Class Dreadnought YSS Battle of the Binary Stars was destroyed defending Gashmere from an asteroid impact and pieces of the asteroid fell to the planet causing widespread destruction. In response, Taisho Ketsurui Yui ordered the Star Army to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Gashmere in the form of OPERATION STILLWATER1). The order authorized an award for participants, which became the Gashmere Humanitarian Assistance Medal.

The ribbon is colored like the flag of the Gashmere system (gray, green, and white tricolor) and has pink lines near the edges representing care and a stripe in the middle representing the Star Army that is Star Army blue with hinomaru red in the center.
It is worn on the Type 35 Class A formal uniform.
