The M10 Ranger Helmet is a new Power Armor helmet design for the Ke-M10 Modular Combat Armor System, created for long duration behind enemy lines operations. Visually, the Ranger resembles a power armor helmet with a semi-transparent visor, and two raised protrusions on either side of the armor's forehead. The entire face-plate of the helmet is capable of opening up, either in small sections for the mouth and eyes or complete; the two projections contain vital equipment deemed important: the left projection contains a Flashlight, Floating, Type 32, while the right side projection is somewhat modular, and has provisions for mounting the working innards of either a Star Army Science Scanner, Type 31 or a Portable Medical Scanner PMS-2M (previously a 1M). The helmet has provisions to be used with all currently utilized armor control systems in the star army and relays important information audibly, visually, and mentally to the pilot. The interior of the helmet contains a dispenser filled with approximately 20 Emergency Ration Pills(The pills are dispensed into the pilot's mouth), and a day's supply of water. The transparent visor can be switched with a handful of sensor-equipped opaque versions, including versions with up to eight eyes with optical imaging arrays, and some degree of customization is allowed for in its construction.
