The Captain's suite is the largest non-flag related quarters on a starship. It is a blend of living and workspace.
The suite consists of an office, a living space, and the bathroom.
This space is provided for the Captain to conduct work not suited for the bridge. The Captain can conduct meetings, interviews in the office.
The main feature of this room is the office desk with a chair behind it. Behind the desk is a Star Army Starship Ensign. Integrated into the desk is a touch screen panel that connects to the computer. Two chairs are also in the room in front of the desk. A trash can is in the corner of the room behind the desk. There are two doors to the office. One leads into the living room, the other to the corridor. On the wall in front of the desk is a Volumetric window.
The door to the living space from the office is not a pocket door but a single panel door that swings into the living space.
The living space is cozy with the essentials for living. Designed for a single occupant, it is contains a soft and comfortable bed (wide enough to sleep two if desired) A sofa or a couple of chairs are added for guests. The bed has white sheets and crimson blankets, and five pillows. (two cotton/feather, three foam). A window or Volumetric window can be in the room if the ship design permits.
A storage locker, footlocker kept under the bed, and a dresser are supplied for storing the Captain's possessions. The door to the bathroom from the living space is not a pocket door but a single panel door that swings into the bathroom.
