The Type 22 Cargo Pants are a general-purpose tactical pants (trouser) design used in several Star Army of Yamatai uniforms. Durable and popular, they have been in user for over 20 years, making them one of the Star Army's longest-lived uniform items.

These cargo pants can be purchased for 25 KS at any Star Army Clothing Store.

Cargo pants were adopted by the Star Army of Yamatai in YE 22 as part of the Star Army Duty Uniform, Type 22, which was the original duty uniform for male soldiers. They were first made by WickedArms Industries prior to its closure in YE 28 and then by Ketsurui Zaibatsu.

As of YE 42, the Type 22 Cargo Pants have been in use for 20 Yamataian Calendar years.

Type 22 Cargo Pants have two large side pockets on the sides with square double layer flaps that cover the buttons and a bellowed design that allows them to expand. The pants have covered zipper fly and a metal hook clasp closure and a button inside. They have 5 large belt loops and seams running down the front of each leg. They have two large rear pockets and smaller wallet-sized pockets inside those. The pants are made of a poly-cotton tear-resistant blend.

In the Class B Everyday configuration on the Star Army Duty Uniform, Type 35, the Star Army Dress Pants, Type 35 can be substituted with these pants.

These are the standard pants for the Star Army Duty Uniform, Type 42.

Type 22 Cargo Pants can be washed in a Standard Star Army Laundry Room with no special care instructions.
