The Type 30 version of the male Star Army uniform became available in YE 30 at the same time as the Type 30B Female Duty Uniform. As of summer YE 34, the duty uniform could be worn for ceremonial occasions when paired with a Star Army Ceremonial Sash, Type 34. This uniform is no longer produced and was phased out of service in YE 35.

The uniform consists of a ribbed blue-gray jacket over a T-Shirt worn with pants. Pants of light blue, dark blue, and white are authorized. Boots, gloves, and belts should match in color and may be worn in black, gray, white, brown, or tan.
