formed in YE 33 the fifth legion of the Star Army of Yamatai is based at Fort Stryhm on the planet of Onigashima (Planet) in the Ushobrakflug system. Legion V specializes in operating in densely populated urban environments and combating insurgent forces. They employ tactics and strategies tailored to urban warfare scenarios, such as close-quarters combat, crowd control, counterinsurgency, and civilian protection.
Being a force based on Onigashima the Legion V has a large number of Dai Oni in its ranks.

Founded in YE 33 the Legion V2) is one of the older legions alongside those of its sister units formed in the same year being the Legion I, Legion II, Legion III, and Legion IV. In the following year Legion V took the Ushobrakflug System from the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) and have held the system and world ever since from Fort Stryhm on the planet of Onigashima (Planet).
The Legion V is broken up into several groups each with a different purpose and doctrine segment complementing the whole.
Urban Assault Units: These units form the core of Legion V's forces and specialize in close-quarters combat within urban environments, room clearing, and urban warfare tactics. They are equipped with Daisy M6 Infantry Power Armor, and often supported by tanks, APC, and sometimes mecha.
