The level of organization above the Star Army Battalion and below the Star Army Brigade, regiments are tactical units that begin to combine different types of units to accomplish an objective. They can be found either as seperate units or within a legion's two brigades. These should not be confused with the Star Army Ranger Regiments. They are typically commanded by a Shosa.

The standard regiment consists of the follow:

• Regiment
  • Headquarters Century
    • S1 (Admin/Personnel)
    • S2 (Intelligence)
    • S3 (Operations)
    • S4 (Logistics)
    • S6 (Communication/IT)
    • S9 (Public Relations)
  • 3 Infantry Battalions
  • 1 Aviation Battalion (for example Corona Heavy Gunship, Star Army Variant)
  • 1 Armor Battalion (for example TASHA M9 Team Autonomous Support Heavy Armor)
  • 1 Combat Engineer Century

Other configurations such as armor and aviation formations also exist.

The standard Star Army Regiment contains the following occupations:

• Command Element
  • Regiment Commander (typically a Shosa)
  • Regiment XO (typically a Taii)
  • Regiment Senior Enlisted Adviser
  • Headquarters Centurion (typically a Taii)
  • S1 Personnel Officer (typically a Taii)
  • S2 Intelligence Officer (typically a Taii)
  • S3 Operations Officer (typically a Taii)
  • S4 Logistics Officer (typically a Taii)
  • S6 IT Officer (typically a Taii)
  • S9 Public Relations Officer (typically a Taii)
  • 90 enlisted personnel and Service Android, Type 36A "Emma" divided between the staff sections.
