Task Force 82 is a Star Army of Yamatai Task Force created to address the possible threat of invasion by the Interstellar Kingdom Of Kuvexia by locating, gathering intelligence on, and countering the Kingdom's forces.

When it was first formed in YE 37, Task Force 82 was led by Shôshô Ketsurui Hanako because the suspicions of a possible invasion plan by the Kuvexian Navy were based on information obtained from the Rixxikor by the crew of the YSS Eucharis.
