Star Army Tear Gas Grenade, Type 30
The Type 30 Tear Gas hand grenade is designed to incapacitate by expelling large volumes of irritating CS gas. The grenade is cylindrical and has an olive green exterior with a yellow stripe around its side. It is used by the Star Army of Yamatai.
It is activated by yanking a loop of string out from the top, which closes an interior electric circuit. These grenades have an estimated lifespan of about 50 years.
