The Type 28 10mm Mass Production Pistol was a basic pistol created in large numbers for the Star Army of Yamatai.

Ketsurui Zaibatsu produced these pistols by the millions for the as a gift to military members during YE 28-YE 29. The Star Army gave them away for just joining¹⁾. After that, they were sold in the Star Army Ship's Store for 100 KS including ammunition.

In YE 41 production resumed for another large giveaway, this time open to all citizens of the Yamatai Star Empire²⁾ due to worries caused by the Kuvexian Invasion of YE 41. The giveaway lasted until the war's end in YE 43.

A robust if simple weapon of good materials, they're found everywhere. Considered a good weapon for a dress outfit, they otherwise aren't exactly popular. The pistol's actually very accurate. A gold-plated version also exists.
