The Rikugun Reforms and Base Realignment YE 44 Plan (RRR445 or R445 for short) is the continuation of the reforms started with the Rikugun Reforms and Base Realignment YE 42. The main focus of RRR45 is the placement of new infrastructure, with an emphasis on using existing bases as much as possible.

Construction has been behind schedule due to priorities being elsewhere in the Star Army of Yamatai.

The First Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations of key core worlds of the Yamatai Star Empire. The First Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Nakano Akio.

The Second Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations of other core worlds of the Yamatai Star Empire. The Second Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Shuichi Naomi.

The Third Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector. The Third Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Shingai Taku.

The Fourth Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within the Northern Frontier. The Fourth Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Kitano Hiroharu.

The Fifth Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within the coreward portion of the Bard Sector. The Fifth Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Tetsuya Asaka.

The Sixth Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within the rimward portion of the Bard Sector. The Sixth Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Sakamoto Koji.

The Seventh Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within Military Districts and the Saiki Cluster. The Seventh Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Tanaka Sakura.

Officially designated to protect the Elysian Celestial Empire (ECE). However since the ECE still controls their internal policy, the Eighth has not moved from Nataria at this time. The Eighth Area Army is currently commanded by Nakamura Yuki.

The Ninth Area Army is responsible for the defense and terrestrial operations within the Fujiko Region of the Yamatai Star Empire. The Ninth has its hands full dealing with the Nepleslian Reds diplomatically. The Ninth Area Army is currently commanded by Chujo Watanabe Aoi.

1st Expeditionary Area Army The Rikugun counterpart to the First Expeditionary Fleet. Currently tasked with surveying within and outside of the Yamatai territory. The 1st Expeditionary Army is currently commanded by Chujo Fujimoto Emi.

In addition to the formal organization of the bases for Rikugun units, the Plan 45 also is used for the following:

• Establishment of the 1st Rikugun Test and Evaluation Battalion
• Formalization of the Kurita Survey Program
• Reorganization of Rikugun Command Ranks
