The NSS Melissa Kenni was a Nepleslian Na-AC-02a Shaika Assault Carrier deployed on the Kennewes Offensive in late YE 29. During this action, it saw heavy fighting and was badly damaged. Despite its wounds, the Melissa Kenni managed to limp back to Nepleslia where it has sat in dry dock in various stages of repair.

With the YE 35 refit of the Shaika-class, the Melissa Kenni received more attention than it had seen since Kennewes. Within a month, the ship went from a mess of jumbled parts into a spaceworthy warship. It was promptly transferred to 4th Fleet when its trials were completed. There, it acted as the First Carrier Group's flagship under Rear Admiral billie haylen.
