HX-2 is situated east of the Tsuya Nebula and is about 52 LY Southeast of Yamatai Star System. HX-2 has a habitable planet, HX-2 II.

In YE 29 the YSS Goban briefly stopped at HX-2.

In YE 30, HX-2 was the second of the twenty systems explored by Taisa Hanako while she command of the YSS Elfin Princess. Together these systems are known as the HX Series Star Systems.

In YE 31, YSS Eucharis placed an Orbital Geological Survey Platform in this system.

In YE 34. Star Army Twelfth Fleet moved into the system, placing Legacy Bastion (Katsuko no Iori) as their headquarters. The star fortress left the system in YE 36 after Twelfth Fleet was disbanded.
